All the asteroids are gone!

So I went to go mining to level my explorer tonight but it seems like 90% of the asteroids are gone.

I went to about 10 regular fields and each had only about 5-10 asteroids instead of the usual number.

Even checked the famous gas coulds in glenn and there were absolutely 0 clouds instead of the hundreds normally there.

Hulks didn't seem to be affected, but I need some ore.

I hope this is a bug.

When you say "you hear" where's that information coming from? Without an official word, we're all left with guessing.

I wasn't criticizing you, was simply asking if someone with a tag said something in game or not. By tag I mean like a DEV/GM type.

I agree afk miners are bad and should be punished. we can't hurt the active players though.

Explorers depend on mining for their levelling exp.

Without a way to get explore exp after completing the navs other than jobs, mining is an important part of the game.

I understand taking away areas like shadow point and redemption, but the regular fields need to be put back.

Currently some fields are being edited to address some issues. As far as I know, this is a balance issue only, and a 'middle road' is likely to emerge.
