bryon3642 Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 I downloaded the client and the other files, after a computer crash, I reformatted and reinstalled windows xp sp3 and all updated. when i try to install the demo it trys to open a webpage at fileplanet to retrieve a free product key which is fine and normal. and gives me a couple error msg's and will not install the proggy. error #1 windows is trying to find the info at fileplanet but cannot error #2 windows cannot execute the external program located on fileplanet then the whole thing shuts down and fails to run. any ideas? C Del[IS] Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 Download the following RAR archive and extract it into the folder "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Earth & Beyond\" (create it if it doesn't exist already). You will need WinRAR or a similar program for this. WinRAR: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm The RAR archive of the client: http://www.net-7.org/Client/client.rar After you've done this, you should be able to proceed with your installation normally (using enb_up.exe, etc.).
