Voiceless
Kay. 32-bit Windows 7, running in XP pack 3 compatibility mode, blah blah blah. Got the launcher to run as admin, no biggie. Patched the first time just dandy (version 58, apparently) but I got some random error and it killed the program. Tried to do it again and it wants to patch to version 300. I click update and I get this: "Update failed. Downloaded file is invalid. Hash of downloaded file and hash in server manifest does not match. File C:\Earth & Beyond\NET7\bin\net7proxy.exe" /blarg No idea what that means. Anyways, being an ignorant hick I skip it and click on the big shiny play button. Goes in but now it wants an EA account and won't let me in unless I give one. Using my own, it gets mad and says the stuff doesn't match. grr. I played an open beta of this in high school and was boggled when I read about its re-emergence on Kotaku. May I please have some help?
