fuulishone
Hello, I was wondering if the net7 launcher (and subsequently the net7proxy) would ever support communications through a SOCKS5 proxy server. Also, would it ever support the automatic proxy configuration file that's available to browsers (proxy.pac)? Thanks
C Del[IS]
I think the launcher will actually do this already, if you have Internet Explorer set up that way. I get this feeling because the launcher is based entirely upon Microsoft's .NET Framework and IE settings have been known to mess with the launcher in the past. Net7Proxy takes a much more direct approach to connecting and likely would need some modification for this to happen. Is there a great demand for this functionality? fuulishone
Great demand? No, was just a random question while sitting at work and noticing that I wasn't able to log in during lunch time. More specifically, the launcher does indeed work and bring up the appropriate status page, but it cannot determine if the server is online, nor can net7proxy secure a hookup. bondct
so in other words you are asking if there is a way that you can get the launcher to haxor your companies firewall so you can play at work I feel your pain... but alas most of us working at large companies have to live with the sad fact that corporate america has no sense of humor when it comes to farming L9 ores on their time
