I redid my computer JUST to play earth and beyond (the laucher was crashing for some reason) and I'm really bummed out that I can't get it working. I redid my computer JUST to play earth and beyond (the laucher was crashing for some reason) and I'm really bummed out that I can't get it working. you cant copy and paste it, you have to click it... it just worked for me... it links you to the enb forum where they keep all the files... a lot of different people personally host game files so you may have to try a few to get one that works... Anyway, I re-downloaded the launcher, but it still doesn't work. It says it can't find the remote server. And when I click play anyway, it says it can't find the file, whatever that means. It won't let me update the client. that just means your launcher did not the required update to the latest version of net7proxy.exe(right now it is 1.88). start the launchNet7.exe again, should have an update. if all goes wrong try this link to download the whole /bin folder: zipped Bin Folder unzip the bin folder and copy him in your Net7 folder. start launchNet7.exe and you are done. It is possible that the old launcher isn't able to update anymore, so you need a the newer one. It says server is offline and can't load the webpage portion and just fills the download bar instantly. Also, that zip file seems to be a dead link. EDIT: Upon closer inspection, I notice that the link to the zip file gives me a 403 error. I believe that is the code for a forbidden location. It probably needs a password. Go into C:\Net7\bin\ and delete Net7Proxy.exe, then run the Launcher as Administrator on your computer (especially if using windows 7 or vista) to ensure that you are allowed to write to the directories in question. Then click Launcher > Reset Updates, then Launcher > Check for Update. After the file check it should have forced the launcher to download the most recent proxy since you deleted it. Can you make sure there are no active firewalls on your machine for testing purposes. Those links are a mirror to an old one that was hosted, and not directly to our most recent releases. I'll see what we can do about making a new installer though, at least a more up to date one.
