September 12Sep 12 comment_108251 Like the title says, and I've tried to follow previous posts on this issue, but still cannot get into the game. I set everything up a bunch of years ago and got into the game just fine. Then within the past year or two, the game login stopped working (incorrect password). I can log in fine on Net-7 and in the forums. I followed an older post and went into Account and Avatar settings on Net-7, opened the account (I have 2), and tried to change the password, but got an error "PWERR_4: Old password is incorrect". If I knew the original password, I'd be able to log in in the first place, so I'm not sue what else to do here. Do I really need my original password to change it to a new password? I always thought my game password was the same as the Net-7 and forum password, but it seems not to be, and as such it hasn't been auto-saved anywhere that I can find. Any suggestions? Thank you. September 12Sep 12 comment_108252 Hi, As you are able to login to the Net-7.org site and the forums if you select the Accounts section on the Net-7 site under Avatar Settings, there is a option below "Change Password" titled "Forgot Password" it is that which you NEED to press (See the image below.) All the best, Yeti[GM] Report
September 13Sep 13 Author comment_108257 LOL, damn...didn't think I had that much to drink last night. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. OK so i set a new password with confirmation that it was successful. Now when I launch the game through the Net-7 Launcher, and try to log in, I get "EA.com is temporarily unavailable", etc., etc., (INV-300). Report
September 13Sep 13 comment_108258 Are you using the e&b.exe or the client.exe when you should be using the Net-7 client to load the game! You are getting the INV300 error because you are trying to connect the the non-existent EA EnB server system, NOT the EMU one. Report
September 13Sep 13 Author comment_108259 I'm using D:\Games\Net-7\bin\LaunchNet7.exe, I thought that's how I launched it before. No? Report
September 13Sep 13 comment_108260 Hi Aragor, If you are using the LaunchNet7.exe and it looks like the image below its the correct one, the only difference may be the IP address which should be your local IP. If you are using a VM(Virtual Machine) or a VPN(Virtual Private Network) then there maybe another/other IP(s) available if you click the drop down box (the one shown below is 192.168.0.10 which is my local IP not a VPN or VM) if you can post a screen shot image as below showing the possible IP's I maybe able to advise further. September 13Sep 13 Author comment_108261 Thanks for the screenshot. I had local cert checked and prototype reorder was not checked. I matched your screenshot and got in OK. Thanks again! Report
