Dante Arawn Posted October 26, 2025 Report Posted October 26, 2025 I am a player returning to the game since EA sunset the game(😢). There are so many memories of this game that have enriched my life in the last 20 years from this game. The memories of the community were always the best ones. Unlike many MMOs I have played, the players in this one always managed to keep the isolation from creeping in while out amongst the stars. I missed that.   A week ago I managed to get the Emu up and running. To my surprise the game felt just as it used to. Same welcome screen and login sounds. The disembarking track that plays when leaving the station. All the way to the starting grind of the Terran Scout, (waves fist at the single laser shooting the bots). The nostalgia has been hitting hard. But, this was nothing to the willingness of the current players to make each of my play session fun and welcoming. The general chat has always been helpful with all of my questions, treating me with grace and respect.   I want to place a special shout out to the pilots that stepped up and were willing to invest your time, credits, and patience to a newbie. It truly reflects what is to be love about this game. The People. The investment you all have made, makes the return experience just like coming home.  Thank you all!  - Caduceus (Cadu) 1 1 Quote
Spa[IS] Posted October 26, 2025 Report Posted October 26, 2025 We do our best to make returning and new players welcome. Â As there is a lot that has been forgotten or not known, it is a bonus that we have the players willing to help out and give suggestions and resources to help get the player heading in the right direction. Â Welcome back, and, tell all your friends. Quote
