new music library

hello. i am a musician and have created over 150 sci fi space ambient songs over the years. well suited for EnB. any chance you guys would like this collection to add to the games current music library? i can also create more new songs as time goes on. if not wanting to add it to the game, would there people here that would like a link to the collection download? thanks. cheers.

just so you all know, google drive gives a warning that it cannot scan the file for viruses. that is standard when sharing a zip file. nothing to worry about. feel free to scan the zip file after you download it.

I'm a fan of the collection of music.  Are you Saoninal/skitzdout?  I recall the first patch was great, I don't think I've made it through all of the ones that made up the 150ish update.  Pretty much everything else I've listened to while playing is spot on.  I do remember hearing one that threw me off for some reason from there, I'll have to see if I can find it again and find out why.

hello. yes i am Saoninal/Skitzdout. yes there are a few songs in that collection that do not fit. they were put in there by accident. sorry about that. they were tracks with vocals. most certainly do not belong in that collection. really happy you enjoyed the songs you have heard. was a long time ago i posted those. cheers

be sure to follow the steps below to adding this collection to the in game music rotation. cheers.

 

To do so, you'll need to do the following:

1. download the collection

2. Under ....EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Data\client create a new folder called Sound

3. Extract the MP3s into this folder

4. Under .....EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\ini copy the music.ini and overwrite the existing one. Save a copy of the old one in case you want to revert back.

When you play, the new music will be added into your rotation with the default songs.

Also, you'll need to recopy the music.ini after any patch to keep the music in the rotation, as I believe updates will revert it to the default music.ini file.
