Heliocid Posted July 2, 2018 Report Posted July 2, 2018 (edited) When I launch the game, it works fine for the most part. However, after a couple of minutes (sometimes sooner) I start experiencing increasing amounts of lag to the point where I need to wait 10-20 seconds for the game to register any of my actions. Net 7 launcher, proxy and the game client are all allowed through the firewall. I tried turning on packet optimization in the launcher, but that did nothing as well. Proxy's status is "fully logged in". I also tried resetting updates in the launcher. I'm connecting to the sunrise.net-7.org server. I'd love to know if it's something on my end or if the servers are just on fire. If it's the former I could use some suggestions for fixing the issue. Thanks in advance UPDATE: tried doing a complete reinstall of client and the emulator. I almost thought it helped since I played for about an hour with only an occasional lag spike, but now it's back, so I don't think that worked. Edited July 2, 2018 by Heliocid additional info Quote
tomcat001 Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 I know that this is an old thread but I am now experiencing the same increasing lag issue. I have played for hours before with no issues. The game will play for less than a minute with no issues then gradually increase in lag until it becomes unplayable. Even attempting to logout our quit via the main menu will not register, need to "/quit" to close the client. I have attempted the same uninstall/reinstall as above and it played for about 5 minutes before the increasing lag developed again. If anyone has any thoughts, would be very helpful! Quote
Ghostbane[IS] Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 The packet optimization and reorder settings on the launcher fixed this for me. And making sure both enb and the net7proxy are whitelisted in my firewall Quote
Zourite Posted June 7, 2025 Report Posted June 7, 2025 (edited) Welcome in 2025: same problem for me. It started today, game was working fine before. Not a bandwith problem and other online games are working fine with no lag. I had to kill the client from task manager several time just to get to get in a safe place because the client wouldn't let me exit the game properly (maps not loading after gating, warp not engaging, navpoints being overshooted at some point whenever warp works, getting ganked by mobs while my client doesn't respond (thanks for the xp debt), station NPC not answering, etc..). Note: sometimes it seems to be back to normal for a few minutes, then out of nowhere it happen again. Edit: I could do a 30 min play with only minor lag spikes. I'll let you know if the issue fix itself at some time. Edited June 7, 2025 by Zourite Quote
Doctor Posted June 7, 2025 Report Posted June 7, 2025 I can't see the photo you attached (either the forums lost it or something else happened). Make sure Prototype Re-order is enabled in the launcher. Quote
Yeti [GM] Posted June 7, 2025 Report Posted June 7, 2025 Hi Zourite, This is most likley a ISP/Router issue or hops to and from the Net-7 systems. We have not had any other reports of lag ( 2 or 3) so it is not effecting the rest of the player base. I hope tyhe issue resolves soon for you though. Yeti(GM) Quote
Zourite Posted June 9, 2025 Report Posted June 9, 2025 Hello Yeti, that's what I though, this is inconsistent, some days is perfectly ok and some it's not. Might be some problem along the route. @Doctor: it was a screen shot of the launcher with the relevant box checked. Quote
