Hints and Tips

Grouping:

A Terran Enforcer is very group friendly. You have several buffs at your disposal to help yourself and your team. Rally will prove to be very useful. Repair equipment will be essential after large combat skirmishes. If you specialize in missile weapons you will be able to hit from afar and do significant damage before the enemy even gets to you or your party. Enrage has its limited uses in certain circumstances. You main role is that of a tank. You take the brunt of the damage, unless of course if there’s a Progen warrior in your party then your support.

Solo:

A Terran Enforcer is also very good at solo providing their combat skills are up to par. Since you are a warrior combat skills are a must. Without them, forget soloing. While not as sturdy or headstrong as a progen warrior, you are still very good at combat. Versus mechanical opponents you have no equal. Your hack skill will dominate the battlefield if you engage with other ships. This is where your strength lies and therefore you should seek out mechanical opponents at all times. You can take on organic opponents but then you do not have the advantages of the hack skill. Experiment and find what is right for you.

Starting out:

After you finish your newbie missions you have a choice to make. First you must choose which weapon you are going to specialize in. This will make all the difference in the world. It will change your solo and group tactics and how you do combat in the future. A brief rundown is that terrans specialize in missile technology. While they hit hard from afar, they can get very costly. Progen specialize in projectiles have a medium range and do good damage, but also can get costly, but less then missiles. Jenquai specialize in beams that are close range combat and require no upkeep. Many simply choose beams because it is cost effective. Choose the one that’s right for you.

You must also choose what type of class you want to play as putting points into skills will make a big difference later on. So choose carefully and pick the one that suits you. Plan you character early and it will save you a lot of time when you get into the higher levels. You can’t go back and change your character, so whatever you use your points for you’re stuck with it unless you can find a Progen Sentinel with "Call Forward".

Advanced tips:

As you grow and gain experience you will find that certain things work better against certain enemies. Remember this, as it can be a big help in the future. Learn when to use your skills when they will be most effective. Energy conservation with terrans is a must. You must learn to use your energy wisely. If you run out of energy you can find yourself being towed back to the station. On the flip side terrans makes a ton of money so it won’t always be a problem. You will find that the terran enforcer is a very versatile character that will allow you to do a lot of things.
