egiedzin
I just installed to a new windows 7 build. I did not set anything to run in compatibility mode. Just left everything alone after install and it has run fine. Maybe try turning off compatibility mode?

ssteelrat
Well got it fixed Thanks to blacklung for your help. If anyone else is having the same issue check with a moderator and see if your account has an issue. That was my problem my account was not allowing me to connect. Benjarate
I seem to be having this problem also. Login fine, select character, goes to the map/loading screen and in about 2 seconds instead of bringing up the in-game UI it just crashes to desktop with no explanation. It's happening to any of my accounts. Edit: Also, in case it's relevant, if i am using my phone's wifi it works, and if i use my home router the problem persists. Some sort of IP issue? Resolved. Reset IP on home router and seemed to fix the auto closing error. Edited October 21, 2014 by Benjarate
Kyp [LDEV]
Sounds like an IP conflict in your network config. A router will drop a connection from one device or the other if the same IP has been assigned, at least with most of the routers i'm familiar with.
