Gunney
I have seen setups for PW's but not many for TT's. What is your setup for support in Raids?
Veolia
are you maxed out TT?
croddam
This will probably explain why I die all the time in raids but here's what I bring Weapons: 4 Zets (Highest DPS Weapon) Shields: Black Force IX (This recently replaced a Diamond Scale though may replace with Invincible Bastion) Bulwark of the Reaver (Swap for the 5% Turbo) Reactor: Tang's Vigor (Great Cap and good Recharge) Engine: Terran Advantage III (Mainly for Hull Patch but ML buffs help too) Devices: aa Gamik Ry (40% Turbo lets me run all Zets for more DPS) Martyr's Heart (Use this constantly) Roadrunner 8 (Shield Recharge Skill and Warp Charge) Intolerance (40% Damage) NOS (Max Thrust Speed) Decay of the Vindis (Befriend and this means big Psi Debuffs! :) ) Manticore 8 (Energy Debuff if no JS is around using the L9 version) Ivory Ward (Most all the Deflects you want in one device) So all in all I put way too much emphasis on fighting with my gear but if you're in the 2nd or 3rd group you don't do as much healing so might as well help fight! :) Edited August 8, 2014 by Ralen
Syberfly
For both of my TT's while used as a Healer in Raid: 1. Weapons: a. Smugglers Recourse lvl 8 (Reactor cap +838)(Shield recharge 4.69). b. Ya Zi Long Hellbore (Plasma de-buff)(Recharge Reactor 7.8). c. Bolas (Turbo 40%) Missile energy conservation 40%). d. Bile ML. 2. Shield a. Proto lvl 9 86%, TT don't care about a recharge rate on shield. 3. Reactor. a. Ambush / Supernova / Pieiades(lower sig) 4. Engine a. Terran Advantage III (Boost ML range 45%)(reactor renewal 9.3%)(Improve ML handling 3.99 skill lvl)(HULL PATCH 3.99 skill lvl) 5. Devices a. GreaseMonkey(to buff the group and others). b. Ivory Ward. c. Tactial Advantage Beta (shield cap 13.3%)(Reduce XP debt 26.60%) d. Sal'li's Circle ( +28% PSI)(Hull damage control 143%)(Recharge shield +32.4%) e. Chang Lung's Pride(if needed) f. Profiler (when needed) g. Martyr's Heart h. NoS (Only when traveling) i. Steingerd's Embrace (if we don't have a Battery) j. AA Uhtag an. There are many TT setup's that can be used, for me it works well. I only shoot when needed, remember we are not tanks but support, You will Die and if you don't your not doing your job correctly. if your Tank is getting hammered, don't worry about the shield keep his hull up, Hull patch is free and allows to to keep shooting; he can spam repair. if you try keeping his shield up you WILL die before him and he will be next. Yes he will cry about his shield :panic: , just tell him to Cowboy up and take it like a Progen. Just my 2.5 cents worth and remember Enjoy the game. Veolia
wy do you use those reactors? i use an shooting star 8 and for shield i use an devils heart or an black force 9 and when you can try to use an Smiter's wrath in stead of the bolas the comps for that weapon's ammo is easyer to get. Syberfly
To answer your question on Shield, It has a higher Cap. To answer the question for the reactor no Breath of Life. To answer the question for the Bolas, store bought ammo parts and let guildies have it on their TE/TT first and the Smithers Wrath uses more energy which is best used for healing,
Goodhumorboy
Weapons: Smiter Wrath, Biles and mix in a Hellbore if needed. Shield: Bastion Shield for the 150% HDC Reactor: LVL 6 Foedius Vox Redivus for insane recharge rate of 90 u/s Engine: LVL 9 Terran Advantage Device: Profiler 8 for PSI debuff and Shield Recharge, Advanced Weapons System Controller for the Reactor Cap, NOS, Good Fortune Coin, Black Soul 8 The Reactor power is never an issue for me if I am buffed with 30% recharge. With a base of 90 u/s and all the buffs, the reactor is fully charged from 0 in only a few seconds.
efialtis
Personally when on a raid my TT comes with the following: Weapons Smugglers Recourse (reactor cap and recharge shields buff) Funnel Weaver (HP buff) Claimjumpers Reward 7 (Reactor recharge and equipment engineering) Sting of the Mordana for that small shield cap increase to help me stay alive on a raid i'm not there to fight but keep every1 else alive with the exception being the Gate Raid (GR) thats too easy anyway. on a GR and regular hunting HellBore Smiters Wrath Black Caster Bile Launcher Reactor SSR8 or Obsolete Power Core for the GR Devices Martyrs Heart Manticore Gorgons Tactical Advantage Beta Ivory Ward Good Fortune Greasemonkey Mark of the Dragon Steingerds Embrace Tangs Alacrity FVES Decay of the Vindis Shield Invincible Bastion is never swapped out Engine Intent for the Resolute is never swapped out This setup works perfectly for the way i play... use it at your own risk :P Edited August 11, 2014 by Efialtis

Amethyst
ComponenTT Not surprisingly, almost exactly the same as Efi. Blood of the Dragon instead of the Steingerds with a longer effect (I'm sure he meant BotD?). And I just wish I had a Hellbore instead of the extra bile but I just love the ammo stack size for the bile. I also use the Black Power 8 as a generally good reactor to have fitted with it's bit of extra cap. Interesting idea about the Foedius reactor - i may try it, but I'd worry about the low cap. The Invincible Bastion makes life a little less worrying. When Efi and I are raiding we rarely lose any of the team - what we have works well. TT's are torn between build and battle. I used to CF 2-3x weekly to flip between building and fighting. I'm not quite maxed but almost there. When I look back I'm quite amazed as I made a TT just for ammo and component building hence the silly name! My best advice is Fishbowl often, mine and fight with your TT on your wing, pass all your hand-ins to the TT for trade, and just pile all the SP you can get into skills. Also - if you are not getting the energy you deserve educate your JEs and JDs to suck that energy out of the mobs whenever they can. Oh - and it's a good idea for drivers to keep two groups close together when things are hot. The area recharge across groups is a nice extra. Keith
Ummm...Blood of the Dragon is Jenquai only. Unless you are saying you are being buffed by Jenquai in your group by it. Then of course, stow the Steingerd's Embrace. While your at it, don't forget to equip your cloaking device and chim 9...err..I mean your JE. :D Edited August 12, 2014 by Keith

I don't wanna cowboy up.. Seriously the only real thing wrong with hull tanking is the shaking screen can make targeting annoying, we used to run raids with ts's as hull patchers hell my screen sould shake for a couple minutes after a raid occasionally. So get used to hull tanking as healers it is a viable method of running raids if the tt's are up to snuff and not afraid of spamming hull patch. Ts's can help with that they actually have a low sig option for there buff(scouts revenge) and syber /tip syberfly 2 here is your change back >;)
Zarg
I have attempted to copy much of the wisdom in this thread into a Gear Guide on the net7 wiki. https://www.net-7.org/wiki/index.php/Terran_Tradesman_Gear_Guide Feedback and/or updates much appreciated. -Zarg

efialtis
I read that wiki gear guide out of curiosity and there are some errors and selections that were probably meant for another terran gear guide. eg. Terran advantage isn't a reactor. Viper engine for the TT, completely wrong suggestion, i would understand if the prismatic dragon wing was included instead. If you could go back and fix it that would be very helpful. Edited November 9, 2017 by efialtis

Zarg
The original page was just a copy of the Terran Enforcer guide, which I took a first pass through at fixing. Clearly I missed a few! I have gone and fixed the things you pointed out. Thanks for the feedback! -Z Edited November 12, 2017 by Zarg changed tense, as I have already fixed the issues noted.
