Hello A/all super nube here, i have been reading the forums for days now to the point where i have tried so many things i cant remember what i did or when. sadly im using wifi on my laptop the only option i have at the moment and yes i know wifi = bad.... i have as the forumes stated changed all the exe files to xp sp3 that where listed then changed them all to xp sp2 as the next one told me to do, i could log in talk with magen and make a new toon, then when i picked the toon it would for a moment show the load screen < the space map> then CTD then with a relog tell me password is wrong then CTD. now i just get the CTD when trying to put in password. i know i need to uninstall and start over but im hoping someone can give me a list 123 or abc even a 1b3 list of what to do from the start of a fresh install to get in. i was a old school player that stayed on untill the moment they pulled the plug, and am very happy to see all the hard work everyone has made to bring E&B back and make it better, but id like it even more if i could appreciate it from INSIDE the game :) pre thank you kindlys and sorry if the info im looking for is already posted somewhere but i did look for days and try everything i could untill i got blisters on my eyes from readding before posting here < or maybe i just missed it because im too old and slow> sorry eather way. smile for the vamp \/^^^^^\/ EDIT after posting this i tried one more time to log in and poof i made it in then crashed :( and back to error logging in and CTD or make it in and CTD as soon as i try to load a toon :(

Hey since the recent patch a couple days ago I keep getting a CTD after character select. The galaxy map loads, but promptly crashes with a failure on net7proxy. The same thing is occuring on my friends two machines as well, his are running Vista mine is running 7. I have deleted global.th6, all *.th6 files in the \mixfiles dir, disabled ip6, set run as admin on all appropriate applications and enabled them to run as compatibility XP mode, and reset the launcher updates. Hi lads and ladies! I have a weird problem on my laptop (Win8 PRO). After i login successfully, select then toon i want to play and press enter, i instantly CTD. Any hint to where i should start look? Regards /Z

Ok so I patched out, and awaited the restart of the server and I still have the same issue. I click on the client and it comes up tells me everything is online etc. etc. I hit the play button everything is normal, splash screen, agreement etc etc, takes me to Megan, user ID in place, PW typed in and click accept..... then bam straight to desktop. In task bar its shows a netproxy client running ver.2.2*** but the game is not there, just crashed out like days of old, nothing there. Please someone point me in the direction of how to fix what I have screwed up somewhere along the way. Nothing has changed since my last playing the game a week ago other than the patch to live.

After the intro video the game locks up for a few seconds then brings up the login screen with a message saying "Couldn't connect to the server, try again later." I've already installed the local.net-7.org.cert and I've tried with my firewall disabled. It really shouldn't be the Local IP selection because there's only one IP address listed under that. Also, when I try to run the proxy it says it couldn't connect to server. I've spent all of the last three days installing and reinstalling the game trying to get it to work and this is driving me nuts! Help?..... I attached an image with screenshots of both error messages
