I'm the only one I know of in my guild that logs on.  I don't get to get on as much as I'd like, but I am sporadically here.     Guild is JuJu, since I forgot to add it in the original post.  :P

Thanks for the warning on the ammo.  I'll see  if I can get it to eat some too.  Anyone filed a bug report on it yet?   For those of you that didn't know, there's a tutorial wih pictures here for using the terminals in game.   Zin    

Ok thanks y'all.  Just wanted to make sure.

After using the ingame mail system (NTA Terminal) recently i have noticed after sending/claiming an item, there is a long long string of computer "installed" messages.   Some say "device Installed", can't remember hearing any engine installed or reactor installed messages.  Mostly it's just "installed, installed, installed".  I was just curious if this is normal, as I don't remember hearing these a couple or three months ago when i was last on.   Thanks   Zin

Totally guessing here but are you on a laptop maybe that you can try a different wireless connection?  Maybe the hotel's firewall has a rule that's conflicting with the proxy?  Again just a total and complete guess but if it's doable maybe worth a try.

Have you tried deleting the global.th6 file in   ...\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\mixfiles ?  Barring that you can try deleting ALL the .th6 files in the folder (if you've not tried this already, of course)   My apologies if you have tried already.

It's not that big of a deal to hit a button, really. Just sucks that there's dumbarses even on our little emu that do whatever they can to spoil stuff for the rest of us.   I was gonna rep you, Stanig for your "one widdle button" post but it disappeared, I see now you don't know why either, so I'll rep you here instead :P

Ahh thanks for the clarification, WhiteTrash.  I had it read as One leader and one non leader could be grouped.  Ah well.     Totally agree, Rossdie.

According to the patch notes it's supposed to be 2 now behind the same IP that can group gate.   My wife and I have found a different experience, however.  When we're grouped/formed and whichever of us is leader gates, the other gets a message "You cannot follow your group leader through this gate!". The leader still has the form selected on the other side fo the gate, though (LOVE THIS)  and the other only has to reform.   Just wanted to let the Devs know it's not working as it was listed to be in the patch notes.

I usually never have problems but I am noticing the same trend.   Midnight to 1 sometimes 2 am EST, I get lots of gatecrashes, Net-7 tray icon always indicates "Awaiting Master Handoff", but I sit there on the galaxy screen.   I let it sit for 15 minutes one time, no difference.  Have to right click net-7 tray icon, terminate client, then log back in.   If it helps for informational purposes, I have used both the name address "sunrise.net-7.org" and the ip address of the server, with no difference.

Also is there a way to set the columns to be formatted a particular way?  Like this and that column are automatically center-aligned and colored the appropriate shade of red, blue, or green?

Did you run the uxtheme.dll patcher as an administrator?  (right click  > run as administrator)  You have rebooted haven't you?  :P   Other than that the only thing I can think of is maybe a corrupted download?  I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

What's your operating system?   Tried any of the settings/fixes in the Technical Support and Common Fixes FAQ ?   I don't recall seeing it in the FAQ but there's more than a few threads that say to try deleting the global.th6 file located in   ...\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\mixfiles\   If the global one by itself doesn't help, try deleting all of the .th6 files, this is what I have to do on my Vista machine whenever I log in.

Character: Zinluuhrae   Jenquai Explorer Levels 4 CL 21 EL 6 TL 31 OL   Docked at Jove's, talked to Masaaki and got the projectile mission.  Equipped projectile and undocked. Noticed on the way to the gate the mission log was completely empty.    Missions at the time were:   Hull Upgrade mission:  "When you reach level 30, talk to Councillor Uj'eda etc."   Gathering Resources for the.. I can't remember the name, had to collect 20 caesium, 20 polonium, 45 raw bloodstone.  It's for some Jenquai Drone research.   The aforementioned Projectile Mission from Masaaki Rosanjin.   I gated to Saturn, docked at Net-7 and relogged.  Thought that might bring em back but it didn't.   Thanks for all you guys' hard work.       Zin

The server is down at the moment Falcon, it is is the starting stage though so hopefully it'll be back up in 20 minutes or so.

What's your operating system? If it's Vista/7 do you have UAC on? Are you running everything as an administrator? WinXP Compatibility mode? and Welcome Back!

I had a long thought out post set up but it simply boils down to Stanig being Spot On with his post above. Why would any builders bother when everyone can make 200%? I'm a casual builder and I'm not goin to stop building just because everything that pops out of the terminal is less than 200%. As Stanig said it's a specialization. That means everyone can't do it. Maybe I will one day far in the future, but until then I will still be using equipment better than I can buy. There was, and now is, absolutely no guarantee that highest faction, playermade comps and lots of builds would/will pop out 200's every time, even for the best of builders, as it should be.

After logging into the Net-7 Portal [ [url="http://net-7.org/"]http://net-7.org/[/url] ] with your FORUM account credentials, NOT your game account credentials, click on Guild on the top menu between Team Vault and Game Info, then go to the Guild Decal tab to find the Portal "Guild Decal Upload" system that Shaddex mentioned. I also wanted to report that the decals for JuJu are working in game, thanks Shaddex. There *is* a question I have about transparencies, is there a preferred file format for these or one that works better than others? Our decal has a black background ingame, where it is supposed to have a transparent background, I used a .png file, thinking that would work. I also still have the .dds file that we used pre-live that worked correctly, if that's of any use.

August of 2006 I recieved my account activation page, after finding mention, probably on Google, of the site. I've been aggravating everyone I can since then, mostly lurking in the forums and playing here and there. Great work by all the team members over the years. Thank you all!
