Yeah i already figured that out so i'm asking if anyone knows the ports the communication takes place so i can add the appropriate rules

I recently changed ISP and since then i cannot seem to be able to connect to the game server. I suspect its a firewall issue or maybe my ISP blocks certain ports by default. If i put my PC into DMZ i can login just fine, but problem is i'm unwilling to take the risks of DMZ. Even the server shows offline in the launcher but i can ping him just fine from a command prompt. The problem is with the login server which my system cant seem to find. The net7proxy error is login failed-server not found (Server failed to respond to login attempt). I would appreciate any help about the ports and such the login is build around so i can make the appropriate rules to my new router.

Glad to see meeting the goal at least for this month. I've been donated on and off for some time, though not recently. Will try to do it regularly but an option to make the donation recurring would be welcome. Even if money is tight at the moment i wouldn't want this project to fail.

I still have the original Box with the Discs and Map and whatever... I remember i've been in much trouble getting it through a friend visiting US. We Europeans had to wait longer for the game to become available and there was even a week of "downtime" for me after the beta ended, waiting for the retail game in order to be able to log back in.

I can confirm the same problem with Win7 x64. Unchecking optimizer drops me to desktop after toon selection and trying to login to server. Applying XP compatibility to the N7 launcher fixed it for me.

Updating graphics for small things like icons for items would be nice but not a priority. I don't think anyone is around this emu effort for the graphics. Once the game reaches some much more stable and functional state, then we could push for some improvements. Also the idea for some legaly educated people, that might lurk here, to consider possible legal complications arising from this has merit. Nice job there trekker.
