Soon after that first post the server was back up and I was able to play for an hour. A few minutes ago I was talking to a vendor and it locked up on me. When I pulled up LaunchNet7, the server was showing as offline once again. Anyone else out there having the server go on and off tonight, or could it just be a problem with my client?

LaunchNet7 is telling me that the server is offline. Considering the fact that I don't see any threads talking about the server being down at the moment, I am inclined to think the problem is on my end. I pinged the server through cmd and everything checks out. Is the server really offline, or is it me? Edit - I just checked again, and now it says the server is "starting up".

Thanks for the replies. The problem apparently solved itself... as soon as the sign-up site was back up, I was able to get online. Odd, but I'll take it!

This is my first post so I would like to so hello to everyone and a big thanks for all the work that has been done thus far to bring EnB back. I was just getting hooked on the game when it got shut down and I haven't found an MMO since that was equally satisfying. I was a member of the clan FAO on Andromeda. I ship to Fort Benning in two weeks to begin Army Basic Training and I would love to get a chance to play this again before I leave. Now on to business... unfortunately I am having this problem as well with my client. I followed Paragon's instructions on the other thread and installed all the updates. I downloaded the zip folder that Jester suggested and forced the update, but still no dice. Any and all help is appreciated... thank you in advance. P.S. - I am running Windows XP
