interesting thread one thing I can point out is that many people are not playing as much because the leveling was so fast and so easy that they are maxed and done with what they want to do and now are waiting for more content added... 

I find this the simplest pattern to achieve a solid load every time with no ctd at login,,, I run net 7 and click play,,, then at megans login screen I let her complete her little hello speech and then after that I wait 20-30 seconds letting net-7 client establish a connection to the login server then I login.  This process dramatically increases the chance of no CTD when you click the login.  I also passed this info to the dev team for consideration.

When you click your character on the right and it opens the character window maybe list the account he is on...  The drop database might be nice at the bottom where you mouseover to see  if it drops to also list just the sector? If not list the account the character he is on in the character page then maybe seperate the list on the left by account...

just a note to help some, if you copy or just use your old files or install you will hit one snag... permissions, the fix for this is account elevation by right clicking the bottom left corner and selecting RUN.  Enter "  /control userpasswords2  " no quotes of course and hit ok.  Click your account then properties.  Click group membership tab then click the OTHER button and select administrator.  Normally you will have 2 accounts one administrator and one user, change the user one to administrator... it will then be administrator, user...   You might also need to add your specific named account to the earth and beyond folder.  Right click the folder (normaly ea games) select properties, click security tab then at the bottom advanced.  Click change permissions, add, up top select "select a principal".  New screen click advanced, find now, and click your account that you login with normally your name.  Click OK then on the next window you will see the permissions set it to full and ok it all.   Do  This with the net-7 folder also....      I have used this method with all my games and it works nicely and I still tri boot win 7, Win 8 pro, and win 8 beta... :)

its just windows 7 with apps and added multimonitor support and for $40 ..... and turning off the tablet interface is as easy as clicking a button... personally I love it so far...

ya they informed us a while back that they had no current plans to release 10 to win 7, Ive been running 8 testing for some time, just like all the other operating systems they all stop at a certain IE and it seems MS is planning IE9 to be win 7 stop. Well see. If they send us any more info on releasing it to win 7 ill quickly post it. Hopefully they stay on that course and release it for 7 would be nice.

IE10 working fine so does IE9 on my system, if you add the proper code to the site ie9 wont be an issue either. also they are not gonna allow win 7 to upgrade to IE10
