I checked the box, still the same problem. I did a ping test to sunrise.net-7.org and it did 4 times with 100% success also. 

I now have another problem. I can get into the game but after a brief time I can't change targets, I locks onto the first one and will not change to another. I also couldn't drop out of warp and had to use task manager to exit the game.

I played on Orion server as Diclofenic PW, Thuvia TT, Lofa JE . I was in Equinox.They were a great bunch to game with.  Played the emulater a few years ago and coming back now.

I've downloaded everything and run it as administrator but get a small screen on the top left of my monitor. The computer is new (Dec 2014) but has not been used until now. Obviously I'm doing something wrong but after hours of fucking with it frustration has kicked in. I had the same problem on my laptop also. I played the emulator a few years back and "live" on the Orion server. I'm a computer moron so details help
