Launcher starts normally, shows a number of fellow EnB'ers logged in. Press play, opening movie starts, click through to login, enter info and "Connecting To Server" window opens.....waited 5 - 20 minutes each time and nada.

Currently, my launcher is showing 192 online but like many others, I cannot validate my log in. Haven't had time to play in over a week so I sit down to play some while my wife watches Idol.......please don't make me watch Idol, I beg ya....

IMHO...we should have been 5 years into a launch base on the surface of the moon when Clinton was President and by now, be a year already on the surface of Mars terraforming. The shuttles are an outdated group of pickup trucks, should have been replaced a long time ago by lifting bodies. The space program has been focused on economics for far too long and less on exploration. The bean counters have been in charge for far too many years. There has been new propulsion technology for a good while now, we have just been focused on other things. The pursuit of personal wealth has been high on the priorities list of America's "leadership" for decades rather than improving the quality of life of the people of the globe, time to get back on track and start shooting for the stars again.

I tend to solo mostly, did so in EverQuest all the way to level 60 before they raised the cap. In fact, I refused all guild invites until I felt I had mastered the playing of my toon and his abilities. Never multi-boxed due to cost of another PC, not out of any objection to multi-boxing. I have been told that IRL I am a pretty good guy, fact is though, at least for me, I am not terribly social by nature and have minimal tolerance for asshattery thus, I mostly solo. In years past I have caught some static for this but it's just not in my nature to group hunt a lot. Do I realize that I might miss some high level end game content? Absolutely. Who besides me should be concerned? I agree with Avani in this matter...people really need to chill a bit and adopt a more tolerant attitude. If I choose to solo, or if I choose to multi-box...who is it harming?

Yep, me too. Nothing like joining a corp on a Saturday, log in Sunday morning to find several HUGE Battlewagons targeting you. Beta'd EVE and found it lacking in so many ways I went back to E&B just in time to find my guild (can't remember the name for the life of me but then I am old) had disbanded leaving me as leader, then sunset came all to quickly. So...watching the Budweiser NASCAR Shootout while cruising the forums.

Guess I am forced to log into EverQuest for awhile...on the bright side, it allows me an opportunity to let the D&D bunch know how awesome the future is. Most who are playing EQ don't even know what E&B is so I get a chance to educate them and hopefully cause them to stop in to see what's going on here and see what real dedication to a great game is all about.

Going to try firing up the E&B client momentarily to see if I can run both.

No problem getting into the forums on 2 separate accounts. Just cannot get the game to run with any log in, tried em all. I keep getting the error message INV-300. Been reading forum posts for an hour or two and can't seem to find the answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Agreed. Folks ought to keep in mind that there are still darn few games released in a truly finished state. Not that it is an acceptable practice to me but it is what it is nonetheless. If they don't send me a key, I too will wait a very good while before paying for the game.

My son and I used to team hunt in the days of Live, been trying to talk him into coming back.

I made a TS and having waaaaay more fun with him than my TE.

Wow...fast work getting the forums up and operating. And the speed with which the play server is restarted, burped, etc....most of us can only guess at the amount of spare time you are all putting in. Thanks so much
