Ah, yes I think I was confusing them with the gold tokens.  It seems like the more important issue here is that you apparently don't get notified when you get them.

Just a few days ago I heard a friend of my recommend that book also.  Might have to hunt it down.

I like this idea, but would probably have to be tied to the player level vs mob level, so they don't go 'rescuing' tiny mobs.

One reason they are sellable is so you can sell them to another player if you are not interested in doing the content.

The problem is that it would have to be a new item, or else remove all the existing items of that type before removing the restrictions.  Otherwise, the toons that currently have the item will be able to build it, or sell/trade it to a player who could then build it.   That of course is not getting into game balance, because restrictions are usually on the items to keep the classes & races balanced.  If an item were made balanced and then restricted just for the sole reason of having a small period where the restrictions were lifted, I don't know.  That does seem like a lot of work, and more likely to be a special event thing if done rather than weekly or monthly.

As Zackman mentioned, this thread has already been resolved.  Any incorrect leaders must be worked out as mentioned above or via internal guild politics.

How about making some suggestions?  Saying it isn't fun & has balance & content issues really does not help.

If you are experiencing problems, don't forget to contribute your data here using something like winMTR.  If it is 1&1 we can't get anything done without logs.

Well as mentioned previously we need proof that it is 1&1/their network.  Help us gather such proof and post here.

It seems we've veered off the topic a bit, so kindly keep your posts to the main topic of changing ISPs.  We've already heard from Kyp about this, and to make things easier, I'll be creating a thread for players to post their data.   Now, those that seriously are interested in determining if the ISP is to blame, can gather and post the logs.  Kyp can review them and send them in.  But, as he said without any data or proof, threatening to move won't help.  I'll update this post shortly with a link, which will be in the Player Advocate section.   Additionally, please do report any abuse or suspected about of power to Kyp, a GM or myself.  We take such allegations very seriously.

It depends on the offense as every case could be different.  As far as what yourself can put up with is up to you, but any time you see something against the rules you may report it.  Screen shot and chat logs are always welcome with complaints against another player.  a description of the offense along with the times of the offense(s) should also be reported..  To report a player, contact a GM via the ticket system, online, forums or contact myself.  Any of those should get the wheels rolling.  If you don't hear anything contact myself or a GM via PM.

Added the poll.  Obviously the "yes" answer would only be changing to ISPs willing to host an emu, and the "No" answer would sort of presuppose they don't have a problem or want it fixed with 1 &1 first.

I believe the problem there is that it remove you (the player) from the game immersion & story.  It has been awhile since I saw it talked about and can't seem to find where it is at the moment.

Sure, but if a solution can be created that makes everyone happier wouldn't that be better?  Assuming there are no balance issues, I think it would be nice for the players to say here's a solution we went over and would like to propose to you.
