  1. ah, yup ... I figured out how to fix what could be fixed easily and the rest will have to stay the way they are ... fortunately the rest are mostly simple missions, so not much is lost.
  2. steps still exist in edit tab, but not displaying properly. unable to upload due to space limitation
  3. Thursday, 26 jan wiki not displaying properly
  4. i chose format badly and the shot showing that all the steps in the edit screen actually exist will not upload due to excessive size. I assure you, it is there and does seem to be perfectly correct. same result with IE as Firefox.
  5. yes -- properly signed in -- can edit pages as usual. also checked with alternative browser and same error in both.
  6. the steps and notes portions of the mission descriptions in the Net-7 wiki have ceased to display. This has occurred across every mission description I checked. Cause unknown to me and I suggest that the wiki code has changed [new version?] or the Template mechanism has changed somehow [thankfully, I can't find it, so I didn't change it]. ty
  7. the command /craft N [where N is the number of runs] only works for ammo and components. It can not be used for anything else.
  8. 18 Jan 1830 gmt [130pm est] NOT CRITICAL. Workaround found ... and ... created a new Progen Sentinel and started out by running up OL to 4 via combination of exploring all navs, whacking CL 0 worms, and selling loot. Finally approached Tovar Maxe [training officer cited in Arx Prima landing instructions] and he offered two missions -- I selected "Learn to Prospect Asteroids" and whipped out to the designated debris field, BUT discovered that I did not have Prospect skill at all. Returned to Tovar Maxe [after logging out and back on just in case ... also did /fmu to no effect] and he then gave me the standard noob greeting and mission ["Prospect for Clues"] which did trigger receiving the Prospect skill needed. the bug I see is that the "Learn to Prospect Asteroids" mission should not be offered until AFTER noob has completed the "Prospect for Clues" mission. {Since this did not happen with my other PS 'toon some months ago, I suspect that "Asteroids" has a minimum overall level feature that the earlier 'toon did not meet and thus this incorrect sequence was not triggered.} cheers
  9. just completed jenquai level 2 promotion optional mission part 2 [the fourth inspiration, etc.] in step 7 of 9, Loremaster Daiki-ya says that the reward consists of a unique level 4 reactor. however, the actual reward at THAT STEP is a Novice's Ward [level 3 device]. this is confusing .. the dialogue might be fixed to reflect the correct item received now -- the reactor is awarded at step 9 ty, men
  10. I discover that if you have two missions in process requiring the attention of Executive MacKellan [Earth Station] that she will only deal with the one that is NOT the Christmas mission until you complete that step of the other mission. [other Mission for my girl: bonus mission hull upgrade 2 -- I don't yet have the required Industrial Mining Lasers for her to inspect] related issue with the rank 2 bonus mission -- the required lasers can not be stored. this means that making them by a 'toon on the same account can not move them to the required toon via the account vault. you have to have two accounts, or a friendly outside person to move the completed mining lasers to the 'toon that needs them. AND, I discover that the 'toon who needs them can not access the recipe in game in order to buy the parts -- someone who can build them has to have the recipe and thus find out what to buy. [the recipe is available via the net-7 database.] only Terran Scouts are affected by this second bit ... since only they among Terrans can not build weapons.
  11. As Redkite knows, one of our enterprising players wrote a page the very next day in the wiki that tells everyone where these four grav wells with pirates are located and exactly how to avoid them. See https://www.net-7.org/wiki/index.php/Sulami_Pirates_and_their_Grav_Well I suggest that a bigger issue for new players is the roaming pair of level 50 plus V'rix in Primus which interfere heavily with Progen hull upgrades. [But, then, I wasn't asked to vote, was I?]
  12. 20 October -- noticed about 1800 gmt that the Net-7.org website is not properly synch'd to actual ingame content. Specifically, not all of my characters are listed in the left pane after I log in and some of the recent additions to my character's vaults are not showing up. Makes me think the recent patch fouled up the code by which the Net-7 system extracts info from and sends instructions to the game database. Good Luck
  13. I was a beta tester and stayed with EnB until sunset. No longer remember the server I played on -- it was the only server when I started. Can't recall my guild's name either -- we were 'allied' to the dev's guild and assisted them with building the first ever capital ship in the game. [my memory is that the capital ship project was based in Mars sector and that the actual capital ship was useless -- had no function in the game other than to absorb huge quantities of refined minerals.] {After EnB, I went to EVE Online and completed 13 years there, after which I retired from EVE.}

    Wiki help

    the www.net-7.org/wiki rejects my login attempts, but [obviously] these forums do not. The www.net-7.org website also lets me login just fine, as does the game on Sunrise. the wiki does not present me with a password reset when it refuses my login and also provides no way to un-register or re-register [that I have found]. I suspect that it has set a cookie that is corrupt, but have no way to identify the specific cookie [afaik -- Win 7 Pro doesn't support that] and I'd rather not lose all my cookies for other sites [some are work related]. Can anyone advise me on how to regain access to the wiki? Karu -- doesn't work. While I do log on automatically to www.net-7.org, it doesn't transfer over to the wiki Update -- sorted. 17 April 2016 1630 gmt. I do not know who sorted this for me and I now have access as before. I did run multiple different 'cleanup' utilities on my Win 7 computer. thx
  15. please point me [Spock_rhp] to help from a wiki admin.  I am unable to log in to the wiki any more -- password rejected.  Can not find a 'lost password' link anywhere.  Even tried to message the admin via the Whois system to the www.net-7.org admin -- no response.

    the wiki I am trying to access is https://www.net-7.org/wiki

    thank you
