I originally posted this in the GM Support forum,  but I think it actually belongs in this forum.       I am attempting to establish an account on Net-7 The instructions that I have found list 2 different ways. #1         Says to create an account on both the Net7 Portal and the EnB Forum websites #2         Says to create an account on the EnB Forum website and use the same login for the Net7 Portal for game account creation I went to the EnB Forum page and created an account.  I received an email and clicked on the verification link.  I can now log in without problem on the forum.enb-emulator.com site. I attempted to login to the Net7 Portal with my forum login info and received the following error:     Login failed.  You need to use forum credentials to log in. I attempted to create a separate account on the Net7 Portal page, but when I hit the Register link it sends me to the forum.enb-emulator.com site. When I attempt to create a second account here, it says my email is in use. Is the login for these two sites linked or not ?  If they are NOT LINKED why can I not create an account on the Net7 Portal site, and if they ARE LINKED why is my login not working ?   I have logged in and out several times without problem on the forum site, but cannot establish a Net7 account. The only thing unusual about my login is my user name has a í (tilde i   ALT-0237).  I do not know if it is a problem with the Net7 Portal site.  I do know that when I launch the game and get to the login screen, the game WILL NOT accept the tilde i.   I attempted to change my login Name, but my name cannot be changed until I make "five more approved posts".  I do notice that in the upper right hand corner where it shows my User Name the tilde i is replace with a diamond with a question mark in it.   If this login problem is because of my name, do I need to generate posts until the system allows me to change it ?  Or can an Administrator fix it so I can change it now ? Thanks for your assistance,     Bíshin   added note:  Was finally able to change my Display Name, but learned it does not change my Login Name....  I still think my Login Name is causing my problem.  Do I need to delete this login account and start over ?    

Can't get the vote to work,  but I played the original..... just found out about the emulator today

Ok, I have a couple of reasons for this post.  First, I want to change my Username, but apparently there is a minimum number of posts required before I can change it.  So this post helps me meet the minimum number of posts.  Which brings me to why I am in this section of the forum.   My current Username is Bíshin.  That name includes one unique character the tilded i.   When my name shows in the top right corner beside the signout link, that tilded i is replaced by a diamond with a ? in the center.  I am beginning to believe that this is keeping me from logging into Net 7 Portal.   When I created my account today, I was asked to enter a name of 3-26 characters.  No restrictions were listed.  My name, with the tilde was accepted and i can easily log into the forums with it, I cannot however log into Net 7 Portal.   The change I am suggesting to the Account Creation would be to identify any unique letters or characters that would cause problems logging in.  This would be to prevent new users from encountering the problem I am currenty facing.     Thanks,   Bíshin
