Bisador: I did the same thing, and it worked for me as well, almost exactly as you described.   I'm not 100% convinced the mission isn't buggy; if a person needs to leave and come back to trigger the drop, seems to me that's an issue which needs a tune-up.

I have issues with this mission as well.  Going to the Smugglerer's Gate in Muspelheim updates to the next step : "(4/7) Discovery!  Kill the Red Dragon around the gate until you retrieve the weapons shipment."   RD lvl 8, 13 and 15 spawn in the area.  I have killed these guys for HOURS, and nothing drops for this Weapons Shipment.  [In fact, when I was there, another player gated in and said he had the same issue: killing RD for hours, no item drop to advance the mission.]   Anyone have any insight or suggestions?  If the mission is bugged, can a Dev fix the issue?   Thanks in advance.

I was signed in @ 7pm Central time, in Friendship-7, trading with Anveryn O'Connell.  I tried to end the conversation, but selecting DONE would do nothing.  I also tried hitting ESC and selecting one of the Quit options, but could not move past the "Done/Trade" open window.  [I could not "X" out of that menu, either.]   It's the 3rd time the ntwk's been down in a week.  :(     Q
