I was sunning myself on a Caribbean island when I heard about this.
Fair camping is going to be a real challenge especially if a JE is camping Desash.

I'm not standing up for anyone.. I am just calling you out as a "public Servant" because if you were really a crusader for the public good, you would make yourself known so people can interact with you directly, not via a pseudonym. It is impossible to trust your posts as genuine because of this, how do we know you aren't a member of one of the offending guilds? Your criticism is tainted and not objective at all, based on what I have read of your posts I can deduce that you are, in fact, a member of one of the big three guilds.. So how can you be a member of an offending organization, perhaps even a high ranking member based on some of the comments you have made.
I can speculate as to your identity... but I shouldn't have to... be honest with us and we'll treat your posts accordingly... With all of the deception your views are tainted by suspicion and are not taken for any value...

Consider me a troll or a coward if you like.
I am the only one standing up for public / unguilded players who want to raid and who want a fair shot at the rewards.
if you want to stand up for the wrongdoers go ahead.
if you want to stand up to the wrongdoers and do what is right by the public that want to raid go ahead.
If you want me to shut up then ask your friends at Epic Builders to play the game in the spirit that was intended.

I am not a troll.
I am a freelance reporter, reporting on the truth and only the truth.
And once again the truth is that public participants were denied access to the rolling process.
Epic at best were negligent in their rolling process or as the evidence suggests they were underhanded.
Just take that on board and realize that if Epic is fair in public raids and does not do underhanded things such as this then I will be as quiet as a mouse.
And as for me being a coward. Who walked away from the public and left them on ther own? you did Daath.

I'm proud I left when I did.
The end game content which is essentially raids and the big bosses the big 3 have complete control of. So unless you join them you either mine all the time kill stuff build or hope the big 3 allow you join one of there raids if they feel you are worthy, You can't retain a growing player base when you give control to certain individuals who should not have it, It serves to cause irritation and people just leave .
So you are proud that you left when you did?

The facts are without doubt The public players that participated in the raid were excluded from the rolls for loot
There is no doubt about this fact.
If it was a mistake you would have said 'very sorry we made a mistake and thought everyone was in the private channel' and done something to put things right. It was clearly not a mistake!
I have checked again with one of the public raiders. i cannot repeat here the response to the lies stating that efforts were made to include the public players.
Like I said before Do it fairly and you will not hear from me again.

So when is a public raid not a public raid?
It is when Gizardpuke and Epic Gamers roll for the loot in a private channel and do not allow public players into the channel to roll.

This happened at the last controller raid which was run by Epic Gamers and Builders on 13 January 2014.
There is no point having a public raid if the public are being ripped off.

They attempted several times to reach out to public players from what I understand... There is no reason to delay the execution of the raid just because they can't get the population to jump on the opportunity for whatever reason. BI assisted, no different than Static assisting. Though I didn't witness the looting process it seems that a Public, non EG/BI players were present, but not many... They also won items in the lotto for loot. Because they executed the raid there is another due before the cycle moves to the "down" week for Public.
EG is essentially a Public entity and after several discussions with their members today they understand the necessity to bring as many public people as possible from the "Public" but they are an unpredictable sort, so I cannot fault the raid process today.
As we move forward I will also be encouraging more people to participate and find ways to enable more non-guild players to prepare. Over the non-raid week I will try to prepare more people for the RD Base on the onset of the next cycle and see if we can get better turn out. But I recognize there are a number of people in EG that are eager to raid as well, and I cannot fault them for organizing the raids, as long as they try in earnest to include others.

Another Controller raid was done yesterday.
Completed by Epic and BI alts.
Surely doing the raid at the earliest opportunity without inclusion of a reasonable quantity of genuine public / unguilded players is not what was intended.
If Magoo is such a great leader why has he not made it clear to his members that public raid means public and not a secondary raid that BI alts share with Epic?
What do Static and VGE think to Bi having extra raid opportunities at their and the publics expense?

I'm not sure i understand the complaint here. as long as whs are offered, 10 mins ought to be plenty of time to build ammo and make your way just about anywhere. As said earlier, someone has to take responsibility for organising and it'll be at their convenience and their friends not the rest of the server. I'm sure the 10 mins would have been extended a little if you had contacted whoever was orgainising and asked for a little more time. I'd like to have taken part myslef but it looks like i was offline when it happened.
Ten minutes clearly is not enough as there was only one person able to get there in 10 minutes.
It had taken the group of people that did the raid well over an hour to get themselves sorted and in position.
If all is above board why was the call not put out in public when this group started to form for the raid instead of leaving it to the last 10 minutes?
Having said all that it is clear that the groups were filled with selected pilots bringing into question would the general public have been told no we don't need 'X type of ship' as we already have them on the field.

With public raids I guess the raid begins whenever enough player are ready after the trigger is up. It may not be fair for stragglers, but unless someone is willing to take responsibility for planning and keeping the public informed about when to expect public raiding to be done, we may have to live with that.
The point is that if you are forming for a raid with the trigger up or expected to be up it is appropriate to announce that fact publicly early in the process and not to form up ready to go and then give everyone else 10 minutes to get there or be excluded.

Simple.
When a guild and buddies spend two hours getting ready to do the raid and then says in new players 'raid starting in 10 minutes'.

I think it wil be more of a gentlemans agreement than enforced rules.
Savic has a reputation for fairness as does VGE and other guilds play within the spirit of the game.
Would you prefer to play fairly or be considered a total &^%$! ?
