Where do I find the "IV6P" thingy, or what ever it is?  I don't have any way to work with my router, as it is supposed to be for wireless use, while I am configured in to using it for DSL.  Right now, I have a toon locked into the AG Sector, with no way out.  Game locks up once the connection is made, between me and the server.  With another toon, and a different account, the game crashes as I try to enter AG Sector.  Did I miss something about this sector that I should have known about?  :panic:

I wonder if this problem relates to what is happening with my toons when I try to enter/leave the Akeron's Gate Sector.  If I try to enter, the game crashes.  If I get in, I get locked up.  If I do get to a gate to leave, when I click to leave, the game locks up.  What I am seeing, it that there is a problem with the AG Sector.  Did I miss something in the reports for the latest update? :wacko:

I have heard that a player can run two games at the same time, and use them to move stuff between toons that player has created.     Is this possible?  If it is, please let me know how to do this, as I have a toon with lots of IGC, and I wish to move some from the "rich" toon, to a "poor" toon.   When I try to do this, I get a message that says "Someone made the attempt to log into the game using your account."  Then the system kicks that account, preventing me from having 2 instances of this game up and running at the same time.   Please let me know if this is allowed, and if it is, how do to it.   Thank you,

I played this game first when it was "Closed Beta".  When it went to "Open Beta", I was still playing.  When EA finalized the game, they took out the Beta files, and installed the game files, which meant all of us had to reinstall the game.  EA sent me, "FREE", the two disc CD set to reinstall the complete game.   Once reinstalled, I played up until three days before EA shut EnB down.   Following the shut down, while I know there were others interested in buying the game, I did ask and got the chance to submit a bid for all the game files.  My submission didn't work, and then I found out that EA wanted a couple million for the files.   If I had had that much money, I would have bought those game files, and then launched Earth and Beyond, on my company servers.

So is there a payoff which makes doing such worthwhile?

By the way, Kyp, your picture reminds me of a former commander of mine, back when I played Mech Warrior; (via MS Online Game Zone).  He always used to show the same "dour" expression on his face.   Have a Great Day.

I am finding it difficult, to follow those directions, in as much as I don't seem to have the same "Launcher", as you refer to.  Mine says: "Launch Net 7 - v1.9.9". Where do I find the proper place to click?  Is this place the title bar, or one of the words on the second line down?   {I peobably sound like a nit picker, but I am just slow.  Thank you fot your time}

With all of the proper .exe files set to run in WinXP, Service pack 3; I find I have no need to worry about what size my game video screen will be.  It will either come out as 800X600, or 1280X768.  My monitor is a 32" Magnavox HDTV, with a max resolution of 1320X768, which is what I normally run all my games at.  They just seem to fit right in.  Now all I need is the updated version of the client?/proxy?/what ever it is.  Mine is not the current 2.41version, but the older version.  Any one know where I can find the newer version?   Thank you

Patch?  Run which patch?  I have problem with this also, but can't figure out which update patch to use.  Is there a newer version than those I have?

So what do you do when you click the play button and get the message, "Server Failed to Validate Login"?  And this is even after the launch screen telling you that the server is online. I also seem to have a need for an updated Net7 Proxy - something like 2.04?  Which is found where?

Create second account for the character?  How do you do that?  I get to the log=in screen, and then get the message that the server can't be found.  Or else I get the message that the account can't be validated.  I wish I could understand what is happening.   I am running Win7=64bit, and every thing got installed as normal as you please.   Now if I could only get past the account log-in screen.  At least, when I do use an EA log-in, the system seems to recognize my log-in name.

Perhaps you could help me with a login problem.  I get the login screen, but when I input my account data, I get the message, "Data can't be confirmed."  Where am I supposed to go to use the account data I used to join this new version of EnB?  The system wants me to use my EA account data; but I have three EA accounts; (actually 3 Origin accounts, since Origin now handles most, if not all, of the EA account data).   I used to play this game all the time, but when EA announced it was dropping the game, (and EA never did gibe a coherent reason for this drop), I got a tad bit upset.  I have other EA games I play: (ie; Need for Speed World; Need for Speed [all but ProStreet]).   If You have a direction to point me to, please do so.   I want to get back into this game.   Thank you.
