1.
fixed, restarted!
Thanks Master T!! what was it?
2. Afternoon, How long has the server been down?
3. lmao... now i try again today and same issue................ i give up unable to bind
4. Afternoon, The fix once again was to go to bed and try next day. Same results the last time this happened... oh well?? @ least dual boxing is working for me again.
5. wish it was that easy for me... nothing i try gets me back in when this happens
6.
have you changed your firewall, or got an update to it or something like that? Perhaps there's something stopping the proxy from binding the relevant ports. The multi-box without VM is really just a glorified hack based on an even worse hack someone posted a while back. Also make sure you aren't using local cert too - that kills multi boxing. The other thing to try is to do a full check disk from the 'my computer' explorer pane.
nope, nothing has changed..... it's been working fine (dual box) i even tried today disabling the firewall completly.. a CTD caused it to act up today.. local cert doesnt work and never use it.... as for a full check disk? what for? doubt any thing w/ the OS changed to a game crashing. Last time this happened.... i just went 2 bed and next day it was resolved.... but i'd like to figure out what's causing it and try 2 stay away from the scenario all together. Thanks for the heads up.
7.
AFternoon, Everything was find last night and has been for a long time until now w/ Dual Boxing on the same pC, Now i get a "TCP Listener unable to bind to socket on port 3801 / 3500 on my 2nd client login, which locks up my 1st and then nothing now works. What happened? Pretty much looks like server is refusing any and all of my 3801 and 3500 connections.
Same Issue again today after a CTD. i was dual boxing fine and now exactly the same happens. i have reset PC/Router/MOdem/Switch and nothing. I have verified that all .exe's are set to sp3 and admin (they werent before and never was an issue (WIN7)). So now i can no longer dual box. If i port lock it wont let me log my 2nd client. i have toggled every option in the NET7proxy and nothing. If i wait until tomorrow or some random interval of time later i bet it will connect again. Any ideas DEVS as to why this occurs? 14/04/11 17:08:16 TCP connection on port 3500 was reset 14/04/11 17:08:16 Client connections terminated 14/04/11 17:08:17 WARNING: problem finding active E&B client - 8. KABOOM!!!!!! 2008R2 hates you. go back to 2003
10. Any chance we can get the old server back? ever since the switch groups have been MAJOR broken... xp debt is just a normal thing now since we cant stay logged more then 3-5 min CL'n....... making ammo takes about 5x as long as well. thanx.
11. Did the server just go down? i got booted on my x2 toons.. attempted to login and noticed only 8% was here. Now its @ 24% and just stuck at the galaxy map....
12.
Did it just go poof again?
yup
13.
I have a PS that when I try to log in the game freezes on the galaxy map load screen. Just tried to make a new PS and having the same issue. Should I reinstall the client?
check your HOST status in the launcher. Server is down.
14. Crash boom bang Server down "OFFILINE"
15. AFternoon, I am having an issue w/ the MOTO faction. I choose the terran side and notice that i have -1500 Terran Alliance Faction vs -3,000 Progen. Is this normal? THe NPC @ ESC Brenen wont let me join the Terran side because im not strong enough? Do i need to farm Progen until my Faction for TA is in the positive? Thanks. Spent a boat load of cash on the ammo run and figured i'd continue w/ this since ive spent the credits. Thanks.
16.
Update: Whatever happened fixed itself, except all my toons are logging in incapaciated without debt.
same....... all day long.
17. Evening, Since the start of today i have had multiple login issues, After character selection the game loads the map and then just freezes. W/ an alt logged in i can see my character "not login" but i see a "my player has logged out" and then the map screen just sits there and does nothing. ALso after a successful login the game while zoning, does the same actions. It sits at the map screen and doesnt return. i have tried all the known fixes, yet for the last week+ it's worked flawlessly. any insight would help. Thanks
18. i prayed for a bit. Then i farted. that distracted me too much so i had to go find a beer.
19. ETA on when server will be back up?
20. i repeated that step and now it works. Thanx.
21. Still no love w/ Sun's VirtualBox. I installed 3.14 today... (newest release 2/10/10) Installed XP and did some updates and made sure to enable 3d and 2d support which both are ENABLED. Installed Add-Ons and choose the option to Include Direct3d support. (installed in safe mode) 128MB ram and ENB Config still states i dont have 3d support. Any ideas? UPDATE : Just ran DXDIAG on my virtualbox and it states both direct draw and 3d support are enabled. Direct Draw passes all tests. But Direct3d Acceleration failed 2/3 of the tests. The 1st 2 fail.
22. Can everyone do me a favor and look at what the NET-7 Proxy window is doing. I have a question. When seeing these issues does it say anything about LOGIN or LOGON status? Failed, successful that kind of thing. My question is why are there so many login events once the inital event has occured. maybe there is a problem w/ the credentials if they are constantly being asked for and passed off? Just a thought is all.
23. Get some ping times from AM to PM when u are having issues. Compair them. Same w/ TRACERT's I highly doubt this is a bandwidth issue because i play a boat load of online / LAN simulated over internet games w/ Hatter and we have no issue. But its a thought. The hard part is we play in the same timezone and i have no issues when Hatter does. Which points to his CLIENT, but yet the above testing points to the SERVER> Hard to say at this time but any and all pointers at this time would kick arse. Thanks.
