  1. You beat me to it Knix... :)
  2.   Thank you for clarification. It would be nice to hide items from DB that is not supposed to be in-game yet till they are in game (biggest example as Solar Sails L7 & L8 comes to mind). Apollo VII for example is not really curicial item when Zeus line starts there, however, felt like it is been missed from loot tables considering no other builders either confirming it is also not raid loot ;)   Currently there is no way we players supposed to know such distinctions as you can guess...    For instance, when someone asks for something in market, I look for it to DB and if I don't have it, take it to my queue to obtain or do a reasearch about it, this item particularly intruged me since I have L5 & 6 blueprints.    May be that's for Web Devs, to make a distinction "Not-ingame yet" vs. "Does not drop"
  3. It only worths if you are using it as "team" , means "different unique people", not between or your own account...
  4. Let's list here what items are not in loot tables (ofcourse except if their content is not in yet, it does not count)   Those are items that has lower or upper levels drooping but not themselves.... Where DB says "it does not drop" and also no builders. Basically "forgotten items" , not "not-yet-in-game" ones...     Starting with:   Engine: Apollo VII  - L5 & L6 is there, but not 7 ---
  5. Make sure your launcher has "Run in XP compability mode"   To do this:   1. Go to Net-7 Launcher install directory then "bin" directory   2. Right click on LaunchNet7.exe , go to "Properties"   3. Go to "Compability" tab and make sure "Compability mode" checkbox is checked and pick XP from there.   Re-try after...
  6. Aren't there WYSIWYG editors for Wiki btw?   At least via Wiki, there can be some discussion area as well about certain mission tips etc. Can move FAQ about Hulls etc. to there as well..
  7.   No, you can play full screen as well...     HOWEVER,   Windows 8 installs with bigger text size on some computers for better view, this causing game to be bigger than it should and never see fullscreen fit into window...   FIX:   Right click on Desktop, pick "Change Resolution"   Then click on the text link below about "Change Text size"   Make sure it is at "More smaller (100%")   Reboot and voila...
  8.   Well, as I said, don't believe me if you think "this simply isn't true", as I noted ask a dev (probably a SDEV) in chat...    The ones you see in stations are merely alts of very few same people, often "reknown" crafters of "the very guilds" mentioned here. Lots of "guild-vault" characters etc. Check "spawn" points of infamous drops such as Prides, Breath of Life etc. you will again see the people of "the very guilds" mentioned here camping as well. It is 24/7 Greed that causing some items floating... And if so what? More GPU power to them...    About tengu navs, everyone is welcomed to group up with other players since I'm not the one thinking "Being able to solo everything without interacting with anyone is a great way to kill an MMO." , obviously you love interactions and like to group up, why try to solo bosses there... Beside how does it change dynamics? In the end, what item drop goes to very same single person. Solo kill or group kill, only thing matters is probably a 30 seconds gain to kill a boss...     PS: Apologies to OP, drifted a bit towards multiboxing from "end-game(!)"
  9. Oh another bad news about multiboxing "ruining it", there are very few multiboxing around (even including 2 accounts only). You can ask any dev if you see them in chat and ask about how many unique IP's are there vs. how many characters online... You will be suprised...   Granted there are many characters of same people, but logging them at same time is not really as much as you think it is...    PS: I have made similiar mistake about "assuming" most players uses /hidelogins turned out only 3 out of 1000 characters actually used it... See my epic fail here: https://forum.enb-emulator.com/index.php?/topic/8780-hidelogins-by-default/
  10.   I don't mind / get angry what anyone -- I mean anyone --  does, what anyone looted or what anyone achieved unlike OP unless they exploit bugs or "grief other players".  They got too many AA's? Oh my? Why the hell I would care for their game taste? You want to be better than anyone or "bestest(!)" but can't dare someone else have those? Bad news, items are unlimited...     There were mutliboxing in old live, there are multiboxing now.. Nothing has changed there slightest bit...   If you ask me, it at least makes server a bit more "lively" than it actually is: I have spent literaly 5 DAYS asking for help for Aggripa quest testing while every "badazz" PW talking about what phat loot they have in market... Nobody responded... What have I done then? I leveled my own PW...
  11.   No, I merely pointing out things you hate or see "cause of ruining game" may be not facts but opinions on your end; the line you cross to force someone elses gameplay as game-breaking point of your own.    Yes I do know WOW suck, but I didn't see it dying because we think it sucks or if people really desire to play like your own... Seen many many communities and games since MUDs man... Nothing changing there as "vocal minority" rule...  You can actually put entire community posts in a single scheme "You better Do this or you better do that, or  this be a warning te ye' many will leave since me & my friends around me talking about it" scheme, change theme and words....
  12.   Wait, I forgot World of Warcraft has been shut down because of this...
  13. I will not comment on raid part, not my interest in a slightest bit, however I disagree with AA's..     I got plenty in live and and in live they were even more than what it is in emu. I don't exactly know if AA's "dropping from raid mobs", but if you are talking about asteroid AA's, they were more than now back then and same method of retrieving them... And "their value", have you checked lately in market? They start from 50 million credits per...     May be you are lucky to fill your vault with them but not leaving them to rest then... If you don't want them and see them as instant grafication for yourself, please leave them on roids you find them so may be someone else who may need them can pick them up...    "MMOs thrive on end-game. This is what keeps a MMO going, this is what keeps your vets playing, your experienced ones playing, who in turn provide so much benefit to the community, so very important."   Just an opinion on your end... Definitely never was mine... "MMOs thrive on end-game" sentence is obviously 20th century ancient relic today, ending with <insert random hidden threat to leave the game> since EQTM
  14. First of all, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Windows 8 RT are based on ARM processors. It is highly unlikely those devices will first run a x86 emulator inside THEN run the game...   On the other hand, if you have Windows 8 Pro on a tablet, you can basically run it...    Second about touch screen, unless you have a mouse & keyboard attached, it is a pain (tried RDP over a touch device)
  15. While everyone lurking in this topic, we are waiting for you without server need a restart time to time in forums... Otherwise it is just me, Stanig, Zackman, Matt and Terrell guarding here :P
  16. However I did make it with a hot alien babe. And in the end, is that not what man has dreamt of since first he looked up at the stars?
  17. Captain's journal. Stardate: uhhh... April 13.. point two... We have failed to uphold Brannigan's Law. However I did make it with a hot alien babe. And in the end, is that not what man has dreamt of since first he looked up at the stars?
  18.   Red is nice... As it still comes to players gives more priority on their solo skills like Shield Nova etc. to put SP's than raid setup.
  19. There are many sectors and content  (and yes, your precious raids) yet to be opened without need an level increase...    Always the same question when toons approaching to level cap...
  20.   Athanor Adamentine AMF2 has also no Adamentine in it as well... Probably like Apple, made in Foxconn china with "Made In USA" sticker on it.
  21.   IRC is long dead, TS is up, but forums are another way of chat if you like
  22.   I very much doubt that...   What recent change has done that you can not heal untargeted full area outside of the group where you can be safe and sound (in a way exploitation) if that has made life miserable, I don't know what kind of life expectation do those have...      And your post above, yes if healer used "Single target heal", it is easier for others to grab aggro than a massive group heal after full reset. Beside it is waste of precious reactor to spam heal to entire group including most that does not need to be healed unless AoE hit of mobs.    Did some additional tests before server crash, A mid-level Enrage grabs aggro almost instantly if it is not resisted after heal...   May be Enrage initiation time might require some tuning to be faster. I can not quite be sure if Enrage also forces mob directly to face enrager regardless of aggro-meter like in live or grab the aggro by additional hate adding though, may need some clearance on this...   My suggestion about enrage is:   - Forcing mob / player to directly target Enrager for certain period of time (like 5-10 seconds max) THEN look for then one on top of aggro list, (that is how I remember from live and correct me please if I'm wrong)   - A shorter initiation time will be nice   - It will be nice if what description says actually work (can not really test like weapon accuracy of mob/player without a dev tool)   PS to Healers: Don't ever heal your tanks if they are whiny kids to see their shield at 100% ALL-THE-TIME...
  23. uh oh... is it gone?   Elvis has left the building, ladies and gentlemen
  24.   Am I verifying reset? :)   I'm sure of it because it is what happens, this is confirmed info from developers, this is how it works and how it is intended with shields of healer is good as tank setup, not classic DnD.   This is for every heal. Even smalles Befriend works like charm after. Let's see my TT fighting against L55 RD's, without any damage of me, they are green to me, with heal they are blinking red, with befriend after they are green again (since I'm not only one mobs are fighting). Easy to test... And it is also adviced method to healers on every chance at Developer chats.   Most deemed useless because people does not see their benefits in solo game play and claim(!) they are useless or not worth the skill points.     PS: About landing skills, it is same as any other landing, CL of mob vs. CL of player always effects chance to land it, also Psionic resistance of mobs play its role on this.   PS2: And people need to realise resist items are better to place on slots than increase warp speed items when they start combat. They are much cruicial than anything on defense  ;)
  25. Our classes in game are not "classic DnD" tank / healer / DPS / uiltiy setup. You can not place most classes in this algoritm.     Healers in classic DnD are almost most weak in shields, least DPS, here 2 of 3 instant healers have L9 shields and 4 weapons. Tanks in classic DnD does not have DPS while main Tank role here as PW has 6 weapons and almost best DPS   That's why it is best that you do not think of it as classic DND and aggro listing.   Healer mechanism works as follows:   No matter how much aggro you built initially, entire aggro list "RESETS AT HEAL"   What does that mean?   It means there is no such thing as overaggroing of healer.    Here how it works:   - Tank / DPS builds aggro (that works as whoever does bigger damage gets aggro)  - Healer heals, aggro build resets to zero, adds aggro to healer for "beneficial help" to previous aggro players - Now all other players has zero aggro , healer has initial healing aggro and next hit of mob is guaranteed to hit healer. But that's all...  - Tanks / DPS continues and easily grabs aggro back, meanwhile Healer takes a few hits for the team (see L9 shields of healers, can take a few hits) - Healers has tools, especially main healer (TT) has a skill called "Befriend" which almost instantly soothes mob against himself to prevent more aggro   However we have something in common with other DnD's, some classes are designated to be roles...   Main healer is Terran Tradesman, it has all the tools to be best healer role. Others are just warriors/explorers with some healing ability. You can not say PP & JT even TS are not healers but definitely not the MAIN healers. Like JE's are true explorers while other's are Warriors with prospect ability.    Same goes for Tanks, PW is the ultimate Tank, others have also Tanking tools but definitely not as good as PW, like HDC, Enrages etc.    Long story short, from what I've seen from community, tanks are not putting skill points to main tanking abilities like Enrage etc to be real tanks, I've never seen another TT also putting skill points to  Befriend... Most of us expect healer to be always safe, never take hits because of other damage while they have best level shield unlike other games...   People tend to use skill points mostly on skills that is good for solo...    Just do a small poll on TT's, how many have Befriend maxed, another poll on TW's and PW's, how many have Enrage maxed? You will get your answer...     My advice if you play healer, "Right after heal, use Befriend" , you will be suprised and never EVER spam heal. Just when it is needed, you don't need to keep Tank always at 100% shield or 100% hull, they are built to take much more hits than that...
