  8. Hi I am slowly going through all of the ammo and checking their stack size and icons against databases created when the game was live. Yes, the stack size and icons were changed for the ammo you have mentioned as the were wrong. www.enbdatabase.com is based on a database create by us, not one created when the game was live. I have found an other database on ammo which was created while the game was still being played, it lists the stack size of virtually every lvl and type of ammo. Corrections will continue. Riia

  11. Hi My personal opinion is that there should be no more incentives than the the one that already exists. Donations are what keeps the play and dev servers up and running. If having the opportunity to play this game is not enough to garner the donations we need, then I suggest the result will be that these servers will be shut down. Not a pleasant thought, but reality.   12. Hi Let me make a short post (I hope it's short) on this subject. Some of the people who started the Enb Classic group were part of the Net-7 team. They left of their own accord and not nicely, leaving a number of posts attacking the Net-7 team. They then split again into two different Enb Classic groups both claiming the Net-7 code and database as their own and splitting the community in to three. So, the question is, why would we work with a group or groups that did not want to work with us the first time around, have stated how negatively they felt about us and have stated that they want to take EnB in a different direction from where we are going. As the Net-7 team why would we set ourselves up for more conflict. Riia
  13. Hi Here is a screen shot of the lvl 6 Zenshai beam from the live game. 95% of the items (which includes all weapons, devices,loot etc.)were not created by us from memories. The stats on these items were taken from databases created by players while the game was still being played. There are at least 5-6 such databases. We also went thru thousands of screen shots to verify items stats where possible. There are 64 lvl 6 beams available to be used in the game, whether they are actually all in is a different matter but in time they will be. Normally for each lvl of beams, they range from slightly better than the previous lvl to slightly poorer than the next lvl. The variety of beams available allows people choices. I guess this is where we have a difference of opinion. I do not believe every item should be uber. The suggestion that we double the damage on the Zenshai Shards would make the lvl5 equal to a low range lvl6 and the lvl6 equal to a mid-range lvl7 beam. After that, the argument would be that the lvl6-7 beams should now be fixed, then the lvl8, then the lvl9, which now means that all the mobs would have to be redone to try to keep some balance. We still have a lot of work to do, but some of the changes proposed would just double that work. If you believe an item (weapon, device, reactor etc.) is junk, sell it! You can still get credits and xp. Riia
  14. Hi There are 64 lvl 6 beams in the database. They have stats and buffs or not, making them slightly better than the lvl 5 to slightly worse than lvl 7 beams. Now some of you don't like the stats on the lvl 5-6 Zenshai Shard beams, so now it should be "improved". Tomorrow someone else will think that the Sundari Pallas beams are under powered, so they should be improved. The next day..... There are lots of beam choices to use, so I'm not opening the door.   15. Hi I have rechecked the stats on the Zenshai beams and they are correct. I never considered the Zenshai Energy Shard to be an uber beam, nor do I believe anyone else did either. However, contrary to some posts here, the other Zenshai beams can be manufactured. The Zenshai Energy Motivator line of beams are somewhat better than average and have some nice buffs. And just so everyone is clear on this, there will be no change to these beams. When we get into balancing the game we will look at it, but don't get your hopes up. They are as they were in Live. Riia
  16. Hi You are correct. In live you could take two jobs every 5 mins up to a max of 5 jobs total. Job terminals have just been added and when a tool has been created to edit them I'm sure we will tweak jobs to be more like live. Riia
  17. Hi It saddens me to see that some you are taking a great deal of offense to some temporary changes that have occurred as we try to implement improvements to mobs. Here is what is happening at the moment with mobs.(This required a complete rewrite of the mob editor and testing of some of the changes, some implementations require new code, not yet written). We doing a complete overhaul of every mob. Each mob will now have settings for the following: Factions- including factions which do not affect players but mob to mob interactions. Impulse Speed Signature, Scan Range and Missile Defense Resistances and Vulnerabilities- each mob will have its own set of resistances or vulnerabilities to damage. Skills- each mob will have its own set of up to 9 skills and 9 levels of these skills to use against its attacker. Bravery, Aggression, Altruism and Intelligence- there are between 3-5 setting for each of these. Shield, Reactor and Hull- each mob will have its own reactor, shield and hull settings plus recharge rates. Weapons- each mob will have its own set of weapons with individual ranges, damage and reload times, modified by its available skills. Loot- each mob or set of mobs will have its own common loot table and rare loot table. There are between 2000-2500 mobs now in the DB and each mob will have to be totally redone. This is being done to give us much more flexibility in all areas pertaining to mobs. This will probably take 2-3 months to implement if every thing goes smoothly. I'm sure that as we implement these changes there will be times when unintended things happen. What we would appreciate is that you report these errors. What we do not need the disparaging and /or sarcastic comments! Further to this I would like to reemphasize ( as it seems that some of you forget this), this team is made up of individuals that volunteer their time for free. The donations that some of you so generously provide is used to pay for the servers and the software need to allow all of you to play this game. Please remember that we have real life jobs, wives/husbands, children, grandchildren and parents that also require our time. Riia
  18. Hi I hate to be a spoilsport but there will be no change in ammo stacks at the moment. When we are much closer to having this game finished we can look at the ammo stacks and how they balance out. Keeping in mind that we also have to consider the cost and availability of the comps. Riia
  19. Hi Could we lower the size of the component stacks? Yes of course we could! However, I would like to point out that in Live the stack size was smaller and the EA Devs were petitioned to increase the size to 240 or higher by the players for exactly the reasons Rossdie outlined. So, for now the stack size will not change on comps. I'm not going through a couple of thousand items and changing the stack size to 10, 20,30, 50 or any other amount, then have to change it again later when everyone complains about how much vault space is taken up by comps and could we please increase the stack size. As far as I can tell the client supports buying a single comp or a stack. If you want 10 ( I know it is a great imposition ) you will have to click the mouse 10 times. Riia

  21. Hi I looked at the engines and they seem fine to me. I have not read any compelling reason why engines should be changed. The changes I have seen being proposed would only give advantages to certain classes changing the balance between the classes or change the balance between the use of core items and devices. In the later case giving players advantages against mobs. In both cases this would create more work for the Devs to try and restore the balance. I for one don't need more work! Riia

Hi I'm not sure what you are looking for, when someone points out that they think there is an error in an item, I research the item in the databases and screen shots that I have to see if we have made a mistake. I then reply with the appropriate response and correct the item if there was an error. There is not much more to discuss about each instance. Regarding your specific report, as others have said, it is not been coded yet. All I can say, as I'm not a coder, that it will be added eventually. Riia

    Brimstone Ammo

    Hi I have checked the price of cement bags and lower it slightly below the lowest price that I found in my databases from live. This comp was very expensive in live. The stack size of both the comp and ammo is correct. Riia
