1. Ok thx for the clarification. Just a lot of peeps skip it because it can be over bearing.
2. I am a bit confused on this entire quest. Not for the other races like Terrans and Jenquai, but for the Progen race. Why is it they cannot do agrippa when they are maxed out? I understand that they have a choice of whether or not doing Agrippa as they lvl up, but a lot of times quests are over bearing for smaller peoples because they lack speed, or capabilities that they gain at higher lvls. Which will make doing agrippa a lot faster for these people. If this quest is optional then why is it not optional for when someone wants to do it? I do not have a Progen as a char, but I feel it is kind of screwed up that if they dont start it early or at certain stages of the HU then they cannot do it period. granted other races can do Agrippa, but only so far (lvl 8) and only one item that can be used by non progen @ lvl 9 is the device (I can see why not making the weapon usable @ L9). But, why not allow the other races use/build the all of the lvl 9 items from agrippa as well? Also are you guys planning on implementing something like agrippa with the other 2 races? because to me it feels that progens are then only ones that get a chance at getting cool stuff, like weps, reactors, shields, devices. Where I am sure terrans could use agrippa style items (which they do in a sence TA7-9 engines), but devices, weapons, shields added to the engines. And jenquai Can get devices weapons reactors for their agrippa style items. By doing this it will allow us to enhance these other 2 races capabilities just like agrippa does for Progens. Make the game more balanced across all races, not just one.
3. ok what exactly you need us to do?
4. Now am i saying I am right and you are wrong? No, because we both have adapted two very different fighting styles to what meets our needs. Both have their strong points, as well as their weaknesses. I rarely get beat up when i fight, 90% of time my shields stay anywhere from 75% - 100% and stay with in that range. there are occasions when I get mobbed by a few baddies and my shields get to 50%, I don't use PSI shield (unless it is an absolute necessity, I am not counting ONI hunting because the nature of XT itself), as it takes time to fully charge, and I cant use any other skills during this charge up time with the PSI Shield.
5. For starters i dont tank. I dont have the HDC and the shields for it. So I choose to do things differently, I dont fallow the cloak shoot cloak shoot. I instead chose to do Shorter reloaded weps and use range. There is a reason why Stealth strike lasts for 5 seconds, I just try and use every last second as i can. If ou want to see numbers then lets get busy shall we. Stealth strike lasts for 5 seconds, I can squeeze off 2 shots per wep that uses a 7.5 second reload or lower during this time.. My weapons, Typically. I do change out a EOD for a DP depending if I need the added speed of 1k. 2 X eod 1 EoFF 1 BS 1 DG (i like the lower energy requirement + the 134% range boost to my beams) devices i use are Nos, Ivory ward, Chim, and Intolerance (40% damage added to my weps) Now on some occasions I will switch this device out for a telescopium, or a Coma depends on what I am fighting. Buffs are from a BOTD and a PB. now lets get with the numbers. eod = 811 damage @ 200% x 2 for Stealth Strike on a JD, X 2 because I can shoot 2 times during stealth strike. BS 803 x 2 x 2 (again double damage x 2 shots) Eoff 701 x 2 x 2 (again double damage x 2 shots) Dg 1320 x 2 x 1 (double damage for Stealth Strike x 1 because I can only get one shot off.) Keep in mind I havnt added the 40% added damage to my weps from the intolerance this will come in play in a few. 2 x EODs @ 811 x 2 x 2 = 6488 combined damage during Stealth Strike from the 2 EODs I am using 1 EoFF 701 x 2 x 2 = 2804 combined damage during Stealth Strike 1 BS 801 x 2 x 2 = 3204 combined damage during Stealth Strike 1 x DG 1320 x 2 x 1 = 2640 Time for me to add the added 40% from the intolerance. 6488 x 1.4 = 9083.2 combined damage during Stealth Strike from the EOD's (you can figure this out by going (6488 x .4) + 6488 you still get the same number) 2804 x 1.4 = 3925.6 combined damage during Stealth Strike from the EoFF (you can figure this out by going (2804 x .4) + 2804 you still get the same number) 3204 x 1.4 = 4485.6 combined damage during Stealth Strike from the BS (you can figure this out by going (3204 x .4) + 3204 you still get the same number) 2640 x 1.4 = 3696 combined damage during Stealth Strike from the DG (you can figure this out by going (2640 x .4) + 2640 you still get the same number) I am a math major. I may not do all out damage per shot as someone using a higher damage weapon like ED, GoD, or similar weapons, that only get 1 shot during Stealth Strike mode. But my output damage is based on total Occurred damage because my weapons still shoot during the Stealth strike time of 5 seconds.
6. I took it as the controller was took, so my bad on that one. And I do completely agree that we do need to stick with the plan that we all have agreed with.
7. Hello, this raid in particular has gotten to a point where we all need to meet up and discuss future plans when regards of this raid. I have to admit, I also have added to this mass confusion myself (I am far from perfect). Either way, we all need to set up a time where we can sit down and discuss this raid in particular and try and put things back on track. To my knowledge there are 5 guilds currently who can take/kill the controller, mine being one of them. Now my investigation is finding out there is possibly another group of individuals (or guild) that are fully capable of taking controller, and these people (group/guild) are probably unaware of the current schedule (again I am assuming that they may not, as I still do not know who it was that took/killed controller on Monday February 6th 2012). There are 7 days in a week, more then enough days in a week to work with one another, putting controller on a FFA mode is not gonna solve the problem, but only increase the chances of issues. The only other solution I can think of (came by way of a fellow leader) is to have controller an activated raid instead of a spawn timed raid (not even sure it is even possible), this way those who can build the device and kill controller gets a chance. (similar to the Fish Bowl raid) GoBB (Ghost of Black Beard) is a completely different matter as it requires a bit more then just a single group of individuals.
8. IMHO the HOTM is crap, always has been always will be. also I should not have to bring a fleet of Jenquai to a sector to fight mobs. I dont always cloak/shoot either, I allow the timer on my cloak to run out, you know that funny little skill called stealth strike, there is a reason why it lasts for 5 seconds. as this time allows my reactor to recharge also allows me to do other skills if and when they are needed. The main reason why i like this beam is the short reload of 6 seconds, I like shorter reload weapons vs the longer reloads. Again it fits my style of fighting perfectly.
9. Just out of curiosity why is this beam warrior restricted? The reason why i ask is because it would serve all Jenquai classes quite well not just JS, JE's. The one class that needs Wep conservation (on Jenquai) is the JD as we totes 5 beams vs the 4/3 of the other two classes (not saying they dont deserve/need it either) But, instead the JD community get stuck with either a Eye of Fang Fiend that has one of the lowest DPS of any beam in game, even if you include the added damage from the weapon and apply that to all weapons it is still considerably low DPS, compare to a GoD, EOD, BS, ED, DG, GE, DP (most commonly used beams on JD's). Or, we get a choice to use a device, the Deadly focus, but this in turns eats up a needed device slot, also the added damage it gives us is extremely low. Not to mention both of these items are non manu'd and to top it off trying to get a higher percentage one is damn near impossible (I am referring to 125%+ not 110 and below). I would rather see the GoD be Warrior Restricted because the energy per shot is among the highest in game 337 per shot, and then have the MTL available to all classes.
10. How about a device that augments the JS's Reactor Optimizing Skill? There are devices/weapons/shields that augments the Shield patch and Hull patching abilities but nothing for the Reactor Optimizing of the JS. Something that increases the duration of the buff, and/or maybe ups the skill level of it.
11. I forgot to mention where the Worm bits drop from, these drop from the Sand worms outside of Nostrand Vor Station on the planet, pretty easy killing and fairly easy drop.
12. Now that you are sitting in front of the Cooper gate in Grissom you will see a scan button located near the gating button. Click this button and the mission will require you to kill 5 Combat Level 42 RD's. These RD's are located @ the nav point RS 8. Make sure the Projectile launcher is installed, if you haven't already done so, I just used 1 Projectile launcher while keeping the other 4 weapons my L9 Beams on my JD. Kill 5 Combat Level 42 RD's. Return to Intuneric Vigoare and report your findings. After returning to Vigoare and reporting your findings She will then send you back to Telum. After speaking with telum shewill ask you which of the fallowing would you like to do first, Ammo (Plasma For Jequai, Not sure exactly what the Terran's will get)I chose to do Ammo first. You will need to gather the fallowing comps/ores to have the ammo built. Again you will be able to build the ammo but you will need a component builder build a couple of the components (any class that has completed the Component build of Agrippa) Make sure you get enough for Telum and yourself to go hunting, I had 11 of each built for me. L8 Evolver BLitz - Joves Fury/Earth L8 Quark P92 Slugs - Joves Fury/Earth L8 Athanor Immortal Shell Casing - Player made Requires 2 L5 Brood Oils L8 Ionized Substrate - L2 Worm bits, L8 Raw Boragon Then while you at Joves Fury/Earth mith as well Pick up a L8 component. L8 K3 Max Projector This component will be required to built the L8 Flachette, get 2. Return back to Telum, she will then give you the map for Plasma Flachette, and then give you the map for the L8 Flachette. Build some ammo, and the L8 Flachette, and then go see Intuneric Vigoare. She will inspect the weapon, and send you back to Grissom to scan the Cooper gate once again. After returning to Cooper gate in Grissom and scanning it, you will be required to kill Combat level 51 Tengu Blights, I went to nav Hulk of Fast Big Ship as there are cl 51's mixed in with 45/50's makes hunting easier. You will have to kill a certain number of them to progress through each stage of this mission, so plan on being there for a few. During this time MAKE SURE YOU LOOT Singed Tengu Hides, as it will be required to prove that you were hunting Tengu in Cooper, all you need is 1 Singed Tengu Hide but I collected it from all the Tengu I killed in Cooper. After completing this portion of the Agrippa mission/quest return back to Intuneric Vigoare and give her your results of the testing. She will then take 1 Singed Tengu Hide from your hold. --Mission End--
13. Ok this guide is about what will be needed for both Terran and Jenquai to complete the Weapons portion of Agrippa. This is a guide to help you along the way to make things easier for these types to complete this mission/quest easily and effortlessly. If you read this guide first and get everything done/or gotten the items prior to, to needing it it will make your life easier. This guide is being written from my notes, so if I forgotten something I apologize. First things first Faction: The minimum required faction to start Agrippa is 2000 Collegia faction, required to complete Agrippa is 6500 Collegia faction. We an only go up to Stage II of Agrippa, why we only need 6500 and not 8000 Progens are required. There are several ways on gaining faction, one way is through jobs, or killing Shinwa or RD's (Red Dragons). I would recommend on killing RD's, then go back and kill Chavez's to repair your RD faction, also do jobs for Collegia faction. If you want to do just Collegia Jobs for functioning then you gonna be there a long time. Weapons build skill: The minimum required is level 7 weapons build skill, I recommend you have max weapons build skill before starting Agrippa. As the test you will be giving will be a level 9 beam weapon. Weapon skill required: You will be testing the projectile launcher as you build the weapons, so make sure yo have max Projectile launcher skill. It is not needed to start Agrippa but you wont be able to continue to Stage II (level 8 PL build). Now since you have the required faction and build skill whats next? You will need to ask for an invite from a Progen that has completed Stage I/II of the Agrippa quest. After receiving your invite you will need to go to Nostrand Vor and see Architect Inquiro, and hand in your weapon invite to her. She will then give you an exam to take. this exam is simple, but if you fail the analyzing you will need another invite. This exam is a lvl 9 beam weapon with all of the effects disabled, you will then be required to analyze it and then build it. WORD OF WARNING: DO NOT WORRY about quality, it is an absolute nightmare to get the quality above 125-150%. DO not blow your money on trying to hit 185% quality or you will waste a lot of money (I wasted over 65 million trying for a 185% and could not get it above 157%) Just rebuild it once and call it good. then return to Inquiro once you completed this portion of Agrippa. All the parts required to build the Weapon is @ Joves fury or Earth Station. The components required to build the examination weapon is: L9 Warlock Beholder L9 Warock MagIC 7 L8 Evolver PoweR-Forge Max After handing in your exam you will then needed to go see Architect Telum. Now Telum will have you go gather components, but she doesn't exactly tell you out of the clear blue what is needed. If you talk to her again she will give you the item is needed but it will only be one item at a time. The items needed to be bought and returned to Telum: L6 Focus 450 Flare 4 - Any Level 6 vendor L6 CE3K ADM BL24 - Player made, or can be ripped from a L6 Kokute Projectile Launcher from Parasad L6 K3 Optic Amplifier - Any Level 6 Vendor L6 Nova emeral Foreman - Any Level 6 Vendor After getting these parts, Telum will require you to get a weapon built by a Progen then return back to her. This weapon is a Effervo Quinque Projectile Launcher, this weapon can only be built by a Progen, these are the comps/ores that will be needed to have it built for you. it is a long list and I will list the hard to find items where the drop locations are. L5 Vortex Titanum Barrel - Vendor L5 Evolver Fire Master - Vendor L5 Gen Map - Drops from Combat Level 28 Sabine in Carpenter between Nav Carpenter 6 and Aurora 7. You will need to do some free warping, there not hard to find. L4 Security Optimal Override (Non trade-able) Has to be built by the Progen building the weapon Ores/components listed below, it is a lot. -L4 Ultra Improved Capacitor - Vendor -L4 CE3K Model 4 - Player Made- or ripped from a Halley DDo4 Engine. -L4 Evolver All Temp Circuit Board - Vendor --Hull Mesh Laminate (PM and trade-able)-- this one is also has a huge list of required ores/components. --L5 Raw Sapphire --L8 Duplium Ore --L3 Boron --L1 Graphite ---L1 Collegia Authorization MXXIC--- ---L1 Raw Topaz ---L4 Metoric sand ---L4 Refined Phosphorus ---L3 High Impact Plastic :Light crude Oil All of the above listed goes into one weapon, told ya it is a lot. After getting this weapon built by a friendly Progen, return back to Telum with the weapon, and hand it in. Then after you completed this tasking of Agrippa, you will get a choice of either the weapon to do first or the ammo. I did the Weapon first. After choosing to get the weapon (I am just fallowing how I completed this quest), She will have you get the fallowing components needed for the Level 7 Flachette. Make sure you get 2 of the fallowing components built. Telum will take a complete set for herself. The Components required for you to get are : L6 Profero Manus Manus Shield -L6 CE3K PM-89 - L6 Sexy Class laser @ F7 -L6 Nova Emerald Foreman - Vendor -L6 Electro Platinum Wound Relay - Vendor L6 Foedius Vox Redivivus Reactor -L6 Electro LX Unifier - Vendor -L6 CE3K Model 6 - Player Made - L6 Hidden Eye KV Trader in KV -L6 Nebula Powr Vamp - Vendor -L6 K3 Loadtech QL2 L7 Stage II Encryption (Progen only built) Make sure you get two each of the above comps built, prior to seeing Telum. She will take a set, and you will need to built the L7 Flachette with a set. You will get the map for the l7 Flachette. Up next is the ammo portion of this quest. Telum will have you go fetch a set of Effervo Flachette Ammo samples. I can't remember what was needed as a friend just handed me the ammo samples. After Returning to Telum, you will get the map for the Impact ammo. The fallowing components required for the Impact ammo is: L8 Warlock Morgan LF - Joves Fury, Earth L8 Quark P92 Slugs - Joves Fury, Earth L8 Evolver Blitz - Joves Fury, Earth After completing this portion of the weapon/ammo building go see Intuneric Vigoare on Nostrand Vor Station (She is to the right hand side of the door as you enter the bar) have her now inspect the weapon and ammo. (She wont take your weapon). Then she tells you to equip the Weapon and head out to Grissom and Scan the Cooper gate.
14. That is still there even if I dont activate the turbo. This is where the problem comes in, I tried this on ML's and Pl's (Same turbo applied) and I dont have the hang up @ 1 second. unlike the beams. so if that is the case then all weapon types should hang up @ one second. the equation for turbo is 7.5-(7.5x0.6)=3, 6-(6x0.6)=2.4, 11-(11x0.6)=4.4. as we can see in the video the timer is pretty much dead on to the math, just that it hangs up at one second. And when I tried discussing this with others it always lead to a huge discussion how I not shooting right, or I am doing it all wrong. I need to be trained yadda yadda.
15. Here is a video of what i am talking about hen it comes to the reload of the weapons hanging @ 1 second. it is best watched @ 1280 x 720, I tries to make the video small enough for everyone to see it. Just fallow the mouse pointer, should be easy enough. HERE
16. This is not a discussion about turbo, it is about weapons hanging @ 1 second. what part of the English language you don't understand? Also it always rounds up, 4 seconds is actually 3.99-1 rounding up is 4 seconds. Looks like I will have to make a video of the weapons reload, so you guys can get an idea of what I am talking about.
17. Just to keep things on track this is not about the turbo, this is about ho our beam weps hang @ 1 second. making a 4 second beam fire @ 5 seconds. I have used PLs on my JD as well (agrippa mission) and the PL's do not have this issue. also fired ML's and they do not hang on 1 sec. Just the beam weapons do. This does need to be fixed.
18. Fix the reload on the Jenpie beam weps. Not all of the peeps who have a jenpie shoot the same. I have a JD that is capable of 60% turbo and yet my weps are not shooting @ 60% but the timer on the wep is correct for 60% turbo. ie DG 10 sec reload, 60% turbo is 4 sec reload after turbo (pretty simple to figure out 10-(10*0.6)=4 seconds), the timer on the wep says 4 seconds, but when it counts down it goes 4,3,2,1.......... then shoots. everyone of my weapons hangs @ 1 sec for a second during the reload process. Just for a bit of info, sake DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET ME TO SHOOT LIKE YOU DO. I have Zero issues on the way i am fighting it works for me quite well in fact.
19. My suggestion is to limit the amount of different sectors each stations job has down to at least 2 then increase that amount of jobs. ie F7 gives combat jobs goto SE, Carpenter, Slayton, reduce this to just Carpenter, and SE and increase the number of these jobs. Or allow more stations to carry varying different lvls of jobs. instead of just having 2 stations carry 135 lvl jobs and 1 station carry 150 lvl jobs. Or do both. Because trying to get 135/150 jobs is a complete nightmare.
20. Ty, I figured it out. Way to many accounts to keep track of...... The first post was done on my laptop this one was done on the main, go figure. Ok they really need to fix the quick reply.
21. Ok apparently I cannot edit my posts.... I meant to say there is no minimum on joining our guild. sorry for that....
22.
eerkkk! you have probably the best example of stretched pixels I've seen so far... Even the 1920x1080 is horribly stretched! I don't think we'd ever be able to extend the aspect ratio enough to fit the 5760 but if it's possible to adjust the aspect ratio we should at least be able to get 16:10 and hopefully 16:9, although why anyone would buy a 16:9 monitor is beyond me ...
I dont just play EnB, i do play other games as well. The 16:9 ratio has pretty much became standard these days.
