Hi Zack, Have the same problem with login lvl 150 toons. Also did the ping to sunrise and play both answers : bytes=32 time=131ms TTL=116 here at my ip. and in the launcher i have packet optimization, prottype recorder, Disable Mouse lock and Delete TH6 files checked boxed and host= sunrise.net-7.org Debug above Local ip: all 3 non checked. Also try to uncheck Prototype but still the same, crash after choosing toon and see the map and waiting for server on the bar below.

I Played on the Orion Server from 2002 to sunset, first in the guild Zen cartel that falled apart and i was the only one left as guild leader. then i joined Meta Mafia guild. Great time remember some names lik Starz from London iirc and traderlater, girlie. My name was then Diddle JE maxxed and had i think all toons pw/ps/te/tt/jd/je at 150 with mostly names like diddle/doddel/johnnl almost the same names i use totday from the start when we had no mobs and gating was true wh commands lol   I also remeber Saku (yoshikawa) from finland we still friends from 2003 and i spent some time in december 2009 in helsinki.   But the best is that all those people are nice and helpfull and still are in the emu. its still a part of my life :)   Thanks to the DEV's and others to bing back this good game :)

well its just start me thinking ... will i go for 2 years to pay again 20 dollars (for 2 acc) or not ?   if they going back with the old design but in a newer coat and lower the prices then i say Yes im in.   But if they are going back with the same looks and content then no and i stick to the emu   what i ment is if they going to make this game looks like example Eve but in the old game content im in. i still love it to paly after 10 years and it was a part of my life in live time :) probly for lots of people.   Anyway if they dont then lets make this Emu a good succes   Grtz.   Doddelpw  

Tip1 : if you have a miner like a JE,PS or TS mine the ores more then needed in the first place, ores are always needed later on in the agrippa        like duplium, phosphates. Even Components you need to build buy if can more then needed. Tip2 : create a mule like a TT and drop him at Nostrand Vor and put all the ores,device,shields,weeapons,ammo, components on it wich you need        for the agrippa missions. Tip3 : get a JE with all the wormholes. it save a lot off time and questioning for WH carp->endriago Tip4 : When starting the agrippa after HU50 then also work on your build skill. its easyere when builds are up to trade lvl45 but lower is fine for stage I-II        Stage III requiremtns are builds lvl7 minium but some builds mission only starts when maxxed. so keep working on it up to trade lvl 45. ok lets begin: At lvl50 first do the hu missions then when complete go to Nota, for weapon build you must have weapon build at lvl 5 1) go to mars arx magister and talk to Centuria Nota all missions must be done before hu75 mission 1) additional Genetic Samples,go to vinda endriago planet. mission 2) who did the light ... go to telum nv mission 3) silver token Inflammatory Ideas Mission 1 (Vinda) 1) give the basic progen token to the genetic repositary in endriago to start 2) find cl20 scuttle bugs in shepard kill 4 and return to Vinda. xs4all use ipv6 but its not recommended so turn if off in the modem. it gives lost of issues when on with google and facebook. so they advice to turn it off in modem. (also in your lan settings)   and btw my problem is that kpn wont change the segment in dsl exchange. so we are sitting in the dark while xs4 ask to do a port switch in the central of kpn. wich they dont because the line is ok (only the hardware of them is total crap)  so im lucky that i can play sometime and do my email etc....   btw diddlePW = DiddelPW jamoos :)

if he have a fritzbox 7360 then look at the Line settings under INTERT-DSL Information-Line settings. if its all up to the max then lower 1 step in all 4 settings. its a bit slower but more stable connections. If that wont work call XS4ALL and ask for a Upgrade on your ADSL line to VDSL line. they did it here also because we have another problem thats about the LINE from ISRA point to dsl central. (other story) But since we upgraded to vdsl and after 10 days of balancing the line (tweaking by xs4all) i can enter the zweihandler again and again without any problems. Goodluck

Hi Zack,   I follow everything on the forum about gate crashing and how to solved. sofar none works.   My situation:   Broadcom 1gb network , I3 CPU, 16gb mem, OS: win7 pro tcp/ip6 disabled.   Provider XS4all and they say change MTU back to 1500 but that doesnt go. i have set the MTU at 1472 the first reply wat i have on ping -f -l 1472 ping.xs4all.nl i can only lower then 1472 i have tryed way back to the 768 as valua from 1472 test then 1471 test until i stopped at 768 (its nuts to do) I also have the program TCPOptimizer and run it as admin did a mtu test with large packet and the result i have are MTU=1500   if i go back to MTU 1500 or leave it at 1472 the gate crashing is still on and only at gate to zweihalder from witberg and Luna.   Jamoos notice that xs4all is blocking the packet that i recive back from the game when i want to enter that gate. xs4all say we dont block any packets related to games. and they advice me to set the MTU valua back to 1500. (windows default setting). talked to a expert on networking at xs4all.   however i didnt had this problem last year with an older version of the fritzbox. i notice now that it came wen we got a new modem fritzbox 7360.   is there a way to solve this problem ? i have this now for almost 8-10 months and it never botterd my until the new content is in the game.   im also considering to go for a other provider then xs4all but my wife wont let me do it. so im stuck with xs4all. witch is fine overall only not for the gating problem.   i hope you can find a sollution for this gate crashing to zweihandler.   PS: it also failed when single box or multibox, laptop, new computer.   best regards John alias DoddelPW

[/quote] solved, compatible mode was changed on the client.exe again. i notice it happens all the time when getting updates in win7
