Yup, I quit being a whiner and went for the lvl 30 HU again at lvl 51 I might add. Got the 1st set of 6 down, 2nd set started after a tow, and BAM!!! what I thought was a CTD. So I hope the 1st set of 6 were a keeper this time. If not.. this being a low level mission and the forgetting steps really should be fixed.

Not an issue for me. I think I will wait and get to OL 150 before I try this mission again.

And it is hated yet today. At a minimum PLEASE change the kill counter to not reset if one gets dead or has to leave the game for whatever reason in this mission. It is terribly frustrating to get dead, tow, exit the station only to find a re-log is needed to get CT back. Back to the heat of battle… DANG IT !!! counter was back to zero start over time.

I have to weigh in on this discussion. I know that the new hardware we are playing on or will be playing on had some of the donations diverted to that purchase. (Was announced before the great server crash) Frankly I don’t think it is any of our business where the money goes as long as the stated expenses are met. I have often said that the Devs SHOULD pay themselves with the extra each month. It would not be a lot, but anything helps imho. Being a donating player gets you nothing tangible but the feeling that you have helped. The creative types program, do missions, web content etc., so the rest of us can play. If you want to donate, donate, if not don’t, but you can still play. Pretty cool system if you ask me.

Late in ST3 and now in ST4 I have noticed on more and more frequent occasions that the auto fire of weapons stops. There seems to be no real reason for it, not out of ammo (switching stacks I thought may have been the issue), or empty reactor (suggested on line). PM xbows 180ish quality 200% xbow ammo This issue may be tied to the shield sap, as I use that as well. Multiple targets

May as well leave it because I am very upset...I played this game in live, been here for each of the STs, reported bugs, donated, and been a bit lippy. But I was just told to leave the game because I didnt understand a 3D game. I was smashed exiting Tarsis by a level 65 V'rix. Ummm if there was some way of seeing through the instance screen I would never have left the base until it was clear. If the Dev or Devs think killing lvl 10 players with a 65 is telling them something valuable in this test PLEASE post it. I don't understand. Better yet get them OUT of the new player areas. Is it a test of how fast a 65 can kill a level 10? It's fast...so fast I was dead before I even got into the game from the instance screen exiting the base. Here it is in the steps if it is of any help: In base at tarsis told to go to Mars for Hull upgrade 1. Click on ship 2. watch ship exit base 3. look at system map 4. Flash o light 5. dead.. 6. Just looking at my information so see if there was something that I may have done or how I registered that caused all MY issues and I found this? Am I marked as a trouble maker? Do I get off it by becoming a fanboy or just not posting? Don't think I have ever been a troll.

Ummm well even though, , I got in but it is not an "Easy Button" login. Not sure why, and won't snake your site to find out. There must be something??? Possibly a slow check on the user db? Across the pond? Is there any stats on who is having the issues? LOL I am not a computer noob, and it was quite frustrating.

I got it to work by using the SAME login name and user name. No clue why it worked, but it did.. wahooo lvl 2 this morning after an hour last night after midnight trying to get registered and another 20 min this am.

I can't get in at any password/login combo IE 7/IE 8 nor Firefox.. strange, would it be possible to put a forgot user name/forgot password on if one of the many combos actually did work?

I can see only one reason for it. With 8000+ users in the Db doing a wipe and forcing the players to re-register will tell them what players are in and current. I agree it is drastic and your suggestion makes more sense. Setting up a periodic "house cleaning" on the accounts would be more practical. And as a bonus running a sql script every 6 months or so would keep the user db clean.

Not sure if this was ever resolved, but here is a chart I found that outlines the hunting rules pretty close to sunset as I remember.

Well, it really won’t do you any good, as the db you are getting from the SVN is NOT what you are seeing in current game. As I remember it the db from there is roughly Aug. of last year when “they” decided to stop releasing the actual in use db.

I have been VERY vocal about the lack of communication to us the player base at large. The recent posts in the announcements section are a great and welcomed change. Keep it up Thank you.
