Ok a few questions: 1) Do you have Packet Optimization or Prototype Reorder checked? -Some use both checked. 2) Does the game just crash to desktop or hang at the galaxy map load screen? 3) Have you tried giving EnB admin rights? -Not sure about Win7 however I know Vista needs you to give admin rights to the game. 4) Have you tried checking lock port option? Personally when I use local cert checked I hang at the Galaxy load screen, I do not recommend using it, it was designed to be a workaround for the beta testers long ago and is not meant to be used long term.

Magoo try this, this is my own Net7 files, its only like 1 patch off or so old but should be good. I personally dont have your problems and this has helped someone else out with the same problems you got, try running the Net7 without local cert with this. [/quote] I believe that at L20 of one exp bar (Example CL20) gives 2 SP per lvl after, then at L40 of a exp bar you get 3. Correct me if im wrong but think those are the points given.

Yep the login server is defiantly down, I can get past the connection by using the local cert *Shudder* but magen wont validate the login info, so that means its defiantly down.

Anyone else getting the dreaded "Connection to global server failed" message at megan? Ive tried both 87.106.131.253 and sunrise.net-7.org addresses. Is the login server down again?

Could not say, I have yet to log in myself to see if I have any issues yet but it seems the net7 portal and forums were down last night and this morning. Would also like to know what happened and is happening with the server and website myself.

[/quote] You need to use the Character and Starship Creator program with that flag, the game itself does not have the ability to allow you to make one of the missing 3 classes.

The Net7 account is totally different from the Forum account, you need to goto http://www.net-7.org/ to make the game account.

[/quote] You can use this up to date version of net7 and click reset updates, might be the older version that you can download might not be updating properly. Again I cannot guarantee it will work but worth a try.

Tienbau the reason I stated I had problems with the viris scanner was not change of files or anything simple as that, Even when I gave permissions to the scanner it would block essential packets or delay them for whatever reason causing major lag on my end, I do believe it has to deal with my computer being a junk heap.

[/quote] The reason most builders do the builds for free has to deal with how small the community is right now and the fact this is only Stress Test 4. Few others are as follows: 1)Usually people build free if people bring the parts. 2)People here can build free due to the money not being much worth in-game, too easy atm to make credits. 3)Never know if there will be a player wipe, due to this people that have the ability usually dont charge because in the long run there is no need. Thats the reasons behind at least me doing builds free, besides which its one of the many things I offer in my guild so why not offer it to everyone.

Edit: I know this frightens some people but it may be your virus scanner preventing you from connecting to the server, That was an issue with me as well, I shut off the virus scanner when I play and have a smooth connection, if your worried about viruses just turn it back on and do a scan, I have never gotten a virus just being connected to the game.

I know this is redundant but have you got your launcher set on packet opt? Some swear by the Packet opt + Proto Reorder. For myself I only run packet opt due to lag load issues when proto reorder is checked.

Have you tried to check packet opt or proto reorder? you can also try checking them both. One other thing to try is make sure your target host server is [u]sunrise.net-7.org[/u]. If you have to click in the box and type it in there.

Net7 would be were u can get some info on items and such that are in the game, however there is no current database that shows the drops and mob locations.

I did not look that hard because when it comes to missions, to me anyway, I found them to be a challenge to overcome and thought they were fun. You must not have read everything because my second post said that i agreed that some of the progen mission areas were kinda screwed up. Also you must not have read hardly anything that Kyp said either, about Byakhee not doing anything coding related just mission related and this would clear up why it does not effect the coding side at all. I have not understood why people have to bash on others for their opinion. I dont, why should you?
