Lot, I think you may be mistaken. If one hulk is left, the entire field must wait for that one hulk to be mined. That is what hulk tripping is / and was in live. People leave one hulk left and the entire fiel will be held up until the last hulk is mined. I understand the screen here doesn't show the time and I should have shown the time differential from the first time I saw this player, and the 45 minutes that transpired. As far as singling out and guild, don't be coy, I could care less what guild the player is in, I'm pointing out a long standing problem with some JE in game that choose to use the nuances and mechanics of the game to their benefit. Manipulating the fields to give a player an advantage over ALL others in the game is simply rude. I'm wondering if the Devs might be able to attach individual timers to roids / gases / hulks instead of assigning that timer to the entire field. Ever wonder why you come into a hulk field and there is only one hulk left? That's hulk tripping or roid tripping. People used to do it in live to monopolize spawn points and it looks like bad habits have followed into the EMU.

Holding open a hulk so the field doesn't respond until you decide for it to is kinda rude. I'm thinking the game wasn't meant to be exploited in this fashion, but who knows, it's a real pain to other explorers to say the least.

Considering the flaming I've taken in open Market Channel chat over this and from the admonishment I received from the GM I'm entitled to at a minimum give the other side of the story instead of the unethical, loot stealing greiver some people have portrayed me as. I said my part, I consider it closed and thank the GMs for the open discussion and logical reasoning that took place in this thread. My only reason for looting which the OP had disingenuously decided to leave out, is that the loot was expiring. I sat for ten minutes watching (frothing mouth admitedly) as your group sat on a perpetual spawn and just killed, killed, killed. Not once did your group send a person to loot, not once did you stop the fighting to loot. You simply let the loot expire. That in its very essence is permission granted to loot your corpses. Protocol and manners aside, what's the difference I ask? Ego I'm thinking? Only after you observed someone taking your expiring loot did you cry foul. This to me shows this has less to do with your ability to loot and more like a 5 year old, mad cause he has to share his blocks, even though he has all the blocks in his corner. I'm not trying to spark a drama filled session of flaming but if you are going to open the pandoras box, please be 100% transparent about the scenario and stop playing the victim. It's simple, you didn't loot, I took it for you. Funny thing is, I traded it back to your Merchant Prince in group, so you didn't lose any items... lol. If ya had a lick of common sense about ya, you'd realize the loot trading is ten times more valuable than the CL xp, but I digress.

Kind of a non-issue at this point don't you think? It's a violation of the TOS to take loot that you didn't kill, I understand the rules crystal clear now.

No need to change any programming, I was just advised by SoldierTS[GM] that loot stealing is a direct violation of the TOS. Regardless if they are letting the loot dissolve or not, you cannot take loot from someone else's kill, period. Thanks for the clarification.

That was me Ninja Looting btw. Here's the problem. Your group sat yourself right in the spawn point of the fishes. You were taking on 7-10 fishes at a time and your loots were not only opening the timer, but also exceeding the timer and blowing up infront of me and disappearing. I sat and watched for 10 minutes before I took any loot off anyone. So my only consideration in this conversation is that you didn't have a problem with your loot exploding into oblivion until you saw someone else looting it. After we had the conversation about how I wasn't exploiting and the timer is there for a reson, (to give you an opportunity to loot)and you were going to report me for greiving you actually took the time to loot your own stuff. Funny enough you left all the unstackable items floating in the vastnest that is the fishbowl. The problem is this as I see it, you can either hog all the fishes and rack up the combat levels, which is what it appeared you were doing, or you can kill them in a more gingerly pace and collect all your loot. Like I said, the loot seemed to be the least of your concern until you saw someone else looting it. You were just letting the loot explode before. It appears you would like your cake and to eat it too.

Ranko, My point is not that you asked for it to be moved to another channel, my point is that you opened the door for people to pile on me and then did nothing to stop it until I started to defend myself. I have the screen shots if you need a memory refresher. This started when I mispoke about who the hellbore was for, your comment then started the piling on from Gaius and Assault. You said nothing after they impuned my character or their comment about my age, you only acted after I defended myself, that's the issue I have.

Who polices the police? I got jumped on by a GM this morning about a gameplay item and who it was for and it opened all kinds of BS attacks on my gameplay to my age and the GM did nothing to stop the ganging up on until I defended myself, only THEN I was warned to move it to another channel. This BS nepotism is going to drive players away from the game. What is the deal with GMs playing favorites in this game? Who monitors the monitors?

No quest it's about us as gamers, getting our views and observations to the DEVS and receiving the same in kind. It's kind of a really cool idea and I'm happy they came up with it. Whoever is chosen hopefully understands they are taking part in building something that hundreds and thousands in the future will enjoy. It shouldn't be taken lightly or taken as a chance of one-upmanship.

If I'm man enough? Are you seriously calling me out in the yard for a fight? You are missing the point. This position is someone who will speak for us, and relay to us from the DEVS. We can't have someone who is first throwing the position around like his Thor's Axe as the chat above clearly shows, second of all, it's odd that most of the drama that goes on, involves him in one way or another. There is a common element to all of it. He very well may be a super nice person, but the maturity level I have seen shows me he "needs" this position as some sort of self vindictation when there are plenty of people in the game that are truely in it just to help others. (Vaden) I'm not going to sit here and bash the guy with made up crap, all I know is his online behavior is at time unnacceptable as well as telling some people to STFU. That's uncalled for in any circumstance. Even last night when a GM said to take it to another channel, he continued well on for 5 minutes with drama. I don't know why the GM allowed it, but I knew darn well better to say anything else. He apparently did not respect the GMs wishes at that time. It's a popularity contest to some people, to me I take this position very seriously as a stepping stone to one day going live with this game. I do not for one second want to trust that position to a player who has some serious axes to grind with alot of people and who may use this position as a threat. The chat wasn't taken out of context, it's simply there for all to see, I don't know what other message it sends, than what it does already. We don't need a polarizing figure to be the voice of the players. We need a unifier and someone who can articulate our needs to the Devs. I think with all the drama and accusations of guild exploits going on, it's simply best to have this position filled the first time with someone who has less baggage in tow. For the good of all the players. (Questorzarnac, you are right, you weren't there. it started when my guild-mate told me to un-ignore magoo because he was accusing me and Izgud of being the same person and thrashing me in open market. I was done with the dude forever until I found out I was getting bashed by him in Market.)

OK! Problem solved. Changed ratio up a notch to higher resolution and it fired up immediately. Sorry I'm such a computer idiot, but hope my problem can help someone down the road.
