i can't even get the launcher to work ... all i get is an error "Collecting from unknown thread"

what i would love to see the most is a launcher able to compile in linux ... yes sir that sure would be nice LINUX GIVE PLZ >_< edit: 1 more thing ... change the proxy a bit too so that it would go to systray once started ;D

as i use virtualbox for my virtual fun then thats what my guide here is for. vmware you have to buy to create your own images (i know you can do it with player with some fiddling) where virtualbox is free for private use http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads - install virtualbox, add new machine where you select windows and something like 15gb drive (i would choose dynamic size to keep it down), when you run the machine first time it asks for a install image/disk, from there it's just like installing windows on a normal machine. once windows is complettly installed shut it down again and choose settings for your virtual machine, look for video options and eneable 3d support. start your virtual machine again and enter failsafe mode (spam F8 i believe it is), once in press CTRL to release your mouse and install guest additions (found in one of the menues of the virtual machine window) once installed reboot and you should be good to go i might have forgotten something as im not at home right now and can't look at my own settings but im quiet sure i got it all if you want i could do a more detailed guide later on

i would go for the smaller sigs too ... when ppl have 3 chars as gamorex there it takes a lot of space some of us just wanna scroll past ;/

if im not mistaken win7 xpmode doesn't do 3d at all. try vmware or virtualbox ... both programs runs EnB

virtualbox can run EnB too .. i have had it working a few times ... remember to eneable 3D and install additions to get the correct windows driver

probably never gonna happen ... i imagine that would take a whole lot of work such as creating an AI to create such a world, a huge work with what should be in what kind of sector to prevent cl 50+ mobs in starter sectors and high lvl prospect in low lvl sectors if this was run by "prof" (by that i mean payed ppl) it would be posible. a static solution as it is now is just so much easier/faster with what limited resources available all i know of programming is no more than how to create a "hello world" app so not like i know much about it ;D

didn't meen totaly random char ... only random appearances ;D making a site to create class and name+ship name with random appearances would be a lot easier or am i wrong ?

i know the 3d rendering would pose a problem ... can't that be solved by forcing random generationn? 1 thing more i noticed ... when i enter the site it should (imo) show news as default

if login on the new site is the same as our ingame account would it be posible to make some sort of char creator on the site ? and the char planner still isn't working for me ... not in opera or IE8

havent changed anything in my opera other than some torrent settings and keys

i tried using the char builder on the new (mostly nice net-7.org (still not likey dem buttons!)) but it doesn't seem to work ... even tried in IE8 (using Opera 10.10) but doesn't seem to do anything when i try and use it ... am i the only one having this problem ? ;(

its a nice site your working on there ... very usefull too ;D not loving the buttons tho ... seem old-school ... a bit like it was made using crappy frontpage (only the buttons!!!

this is perfect especially for those playing in a virtual machine ... running a "low" resource OS like win98 can only be better than everything else ;D

so you say we can't send ppl to mars ? i say we can ... only problem is the cost ... there are other "more important" thins to spend our money on today like "global warming" and healthcare. if we really wanted it wouldn't be that harder compared to a trip to the moon ... only more pricy

i see you fixed it ;D i already have the game setup myself but i don't mind helping with seeding (when i get home from LAN) so others can get it and join the rest of us D;

take a look at your url ... something wrong there ;D anyway ... i would think that a torrent shouldn't include net7 for the simple reason that it gets updateded all the time ... simply include a readme.txt with a few words on how to install and where to get net7 would probably be better (just my 2 cents)
