Nimec here from Hellfire Empire, Galileo.   Good to see some familiar names, it has been a long time.

Surely its a software problem? If it was a port/ISP related problem why would it work intermittently? Shouldn't it never work if the ISP is blocking certain port access?

If memory serves me right there was some Westwood Command & Conquer utility that was able to open the game data files. I remember using it back when the game was live to pull the Tada-O announcements out.

Someone was saying the problem is with the ISP?

Again, there was just a server reboot. Again, its broke again minutes later. Tried gating and stuck on loading screen. Do you guys have a backup of a previous version you can restore?

It's hard leveling a new character with the problems because you always have to gate or deck to get missions/stuff done. Maybe we should give it a few days break and see if they can figure out what's causing all of the problems lately.

There was just a server restart. I was back in for about 5 minutes then tried to gate and am now hung again on the load screen. Was a change in netcode applied in the last couple of days that is causing this? Seems nonstop now.

Can a server restart fix this? Or is it a bigger problem?

Somehow the population of the server is increasing. Are some of us able to login and others not? Or is it only people that were once logged in not able to log back in?

Tried docking in the PS newbie zone. Stuck at the loading screen. Edit: Can't login now, or make a new character.

Wasn't able to dock at a station, and now unable to login. Otherwise what a fantastic experience. I'm beaming with nostalgia.
