1.
im using ubuntu 10.10 and i downgraded wine to 1.1.34.. Dowgrading wine to 1.1.34 helped me pass the sertificate thingy, and i am able to login and create a char...hoever after that i get "no active client" error msg.
Interesting...never seen that error before. no idea why proxy cant find enb running. Someone with access to proxy sources must answer that.
 2.
Unfortunately this isn't anything related to the Agrippa missions. Just the game mechanics in general. Crashing while doing terminal jobs (you lose jobs). Crashing while doing any mission that requires you to kill X amount resets the kill counter. Its just how the server operates when recording said data for that unfortunately.
thats why I suggested to split it to stages. Byakhee of-course only picked up side-remark about 10 kills (I just pointed out inconsistency with other same type mission) and missed the point entirely. I guess I need to park my PW 20k from spawn and skill the fishes with other chars. Mimir: Agrippa missions are big reason why I play progen or play at all really.
 3.
But the point is far, it is challenging and achievable. Just don't crash. Have a JE/JD arround to help.
just dont crash... hehe right.
 4. Go Fishing! Kill 20 Ten-Gu Blight (should it not be 10 like Ten-Gu Skinner mission?) (and other similar) mission should be split to stages, because if you CTD say 19'th kill, you start all over again. cant call it fun.
 5.
I'm trying to run the game in 1600x900 32bit, the performance test has no issues with it and saves it, but when I log into the game it runs in 4:3 mode instead of 16:9
you either running game in admin mode and config not or by 4:3 you mean all circles turned to ellipses. either way working as it should because game knows nothing about 16:9
 6.
checking mission for reason. <can't. Tools not logging me in> Yes. You should be only having the blueprint... small slip there. The Jenquai should be limited to only ionized The Terrans should be limited to only explosive The Privateers get all.
So mission should reward blueprint ? tell GM's about that so they not affraid to reset my mission. (yes i have ticket open) ... or GM's could just give me the print
 7.
If you are a privater talking about the Substrates, then yes. However I have not heard of anyone failing them yet. Perhaps they, like the ammo for the TS Sniper gun, are guaranteed success.
yes substrate... and no, they are not guaranteed success. I'm first to fail ? lucky me. (failed incendiary, got the other 2)
You may be able to talk a nice GM into resetting the mission for you once - I am not sure if a policy has been set on that yet.
unless there is some evil prereq's for these comp mission, it might be faster to just level new char to TL45 than get GM to spawn.
 8. so, if I fail analyzing that single ammo component, I pretty much need to level up another chat to get new component to analyze ?
 9.
Architecti Telum's first mission to me was (and I am sorry that I forgot the name) an 8 step mission with alot of fetching. It ended with needing 100 Hades Blood. I am almost certain that she is the Weapon NPC for the Agrippa tech missions, and that she said she would give me a blueprint as a reward for the quest.
L50 missions are for ammo
 10.
I've heard of some with the CTD having results by going into your local profile's application data:
so called CTD is happening because server kicks you out. Server actually sends 'quit' message to proxy and proxy kills the game as ordered. funnily only my old chars are affected. new char (on not-previously-used account) works fine. go figure.
 11.
this will no longer happen - I just did a live patch to remove the 0x100a send. Not sure what's going on there ...
no change, 0x100a still arrives from server port 3683. 0x200f (one that signals proxy alive right ?) goes only to port 3806. never to sector server. and it's the sector server that kicks me out.
 12.
that happens if the player is not active when a keep-alive arrives. I think I added this back in a time when logins were still very hit and miss (instead of just a little bit hit and miss as they are now). I'll just have it do nothing if the player is not active for now, as the plan is to have Net7Proxy be more active in terminating stuck clients. Between this and the fixed port mod hopefully there will be less trouble with connection stability.
I'm fully logged in and standing in station when server kicks me out with 0x100a. I dont move or chat or handle inventory. only packets going to server are proxy keep-alive's. 13.
yes with the new multi-port connection system a fair few people with aggressive firewalls or restrictive routers or ISP's are getting connection issues.
there seems to be something else going on as just when proxy send 0x3005, server responds with 0x100a. Game over. Tho, server does not tell itself about that that and still tries to send packets to now dead proxy. also cant login two clients from same IP as packets get all messed up. second client complains 'already processed packets' and first one freezes. ofcourse after that they both close. me thinks somethings broken and it ain't my firewall.

 15.
If you can't connect or you see 0 people online, you're having a DNS problem. For the next few days, connect directly to "87.106.131.253" and you should be able to get in.
I't not us who has DNS problems ;-) ns1.net-7.org and ns2.net-7.org are out of sync and so tell two different IP's for sunrise and play
 16.
i definitely agree that refining costs are pretty high. i don't remember what they were like in live, but I definitely don't remember losing all my money to the refine terminal. (which I have done, twice now)
use TT to sell them.
In the mean time, I could whip up a small script to dump the most interesting character data to some text format. Were you looking for something in XML, CSV, etc.?
sql ? ;-)

 20.
Hey guys, is there any way I can install software safely on my laptop and iPhone to be able to play EnB?
get EnB running on laptop as usual, then install VNC server to laptop. On iPhone use VNC client to access laptop VNC server and pretend that you play on your iPhone. simple really ;-)
 21. if someone is doing own WINE compiling, then this hack allows EnB to run with latest wine. This will punch gigantic hole to WINE ssl connection so be warned. 22. He used too few words to fully understand what he means... but if was probably against 'not updating public svn anymore'. Some also think that code == database and public database dump was old too. as for running enb server (from the code that is currently public). it's as simple as edit config file, setup database, compile and run. There is no single install package (yet) where you can just click 'next->next->finish' so it might seem rocket science for some ;-)
 23. well... epic fail then as macros did whole trade run's AND explorer jobs, combat farming for specific comps or mining & selling 24/7. nothing has changed client side so same macros can be used in emu even. as for hotkeys gate/dock. write macro that does simple mouse click at x/y.
 24. this is for www.net-7.org issued by GoDaddy.https://www.net-7.org uses Comodo cert that expired in 2007 https://play.net-7.org uses self signed cert for local.net-7.org that will expire is 2016 godaddy cert does not seem to be used for anything
 25. Net7SSL crashed again probably. They should replace it with simple apache/php as only purpose for it seems to be to verify user/pass and get token to log into server.
