  1. I wonder how many people are following me? As if I knew where I was going... Hah!
  2. As it stands now two people can take all the jobs available from the terminal I try to run jobs from (lvl50 combat jobs from Aganju?). That's with the second person having to wait for the respawn to fill up their mission allotment.
  3. Happy Happy Kyp! :D

  4. I found a heart shield in a hulk... Want to be my valentine?
  5. I need a bigger reactor... :(

  6. I hope the fix won't be by nerfing the lower-level engines.
  7. I can't believe I've stooped to doing terminal jobs... again.

  8. Ahh okay... switched to Terran Theme and narrowed the window. The "Preview Post" icon that pops up seems to be the culprit. I use the IP Board theme, doesn't seem to be affected by window size.
  9. I don't see it on IE8 or FF3.6.10. I've tried every theme too.
  10. Well ofc there's still friction... Or else you wouldn't be able to move at all. I was talking more about not having to overcome the likes of surface friction.
  11. Heh... All I can picture is a carrot on a string leading a group of explorers around a sector.
  12. One thing to keep in mind though... Playing a game using zero-g physics in a vacuum would be neigh unplayable especially with the limited controls we have through the client. It would appear EnB uses something similar to neutral buoyancy and underwater physics. It's not ultra-realistic but it gets the job done. You get the feeling of floating in space without the uncontrollable movement and you do eventually come to a stop if you shut the engines off.
  13. Mass is determined by measuring the inertia of an object. That is: "its resistance to an effort made to change its state of motion." So in other words, without going into a lot of detail, yes. The more massive an object is, the more thrust is needed to change its direction. F = d/dt(mv) Zero G just means we don't have to deal with pesky things like friction.
  14. I like it... Would give you a more sense of control over your ship. I would definitely use it.
  15. I was thinking maybe the Detention Center. Get a room you two! /spins key on her finger, whistling.
  16. Did you divide by zero and get the server stuck in a black hole... Again?
  17. Someone give me patience... AND I WANT IT RIGHT NOW! Oh well... I'd just be mining anyways... *twitch* Must mine... MINE!
  18. Dunno what I'm doing wrong... My sig doesn't update until I generate a new one, then do ctrl-f5 to clear the cache.
  19. omg... I'm in tears I'm laughing so hard.
  20. I run Win7 64bit and don't have nearly as much issues that people are having. /knocks on particle board Things I did: Install E&B to default location as usual. Install Net-7 Proxy to a system-unprotected area. ie C:\Net-7 not in C:\Program Files\Net-7 Right clicked the Net-7 executable and set compatibility to run as administrator. Run Net-7 proxy and click yes on prompt. Update runs as usual once e&b.exe is located. Locate e&b config executable and set compatibility mode to run as administrator. Run to set graphics settings. Start game via Net-7 launcher after verifying Packet Opt is enabled. Everything is still running fine in Win7 mode. (I run MS Security Essentials for AV fyi)
  21. Figured I'd post a screenie of my first attempt at the Warder in live... Back then I was trying to figure out the timer for it.
  22. It was in the final dialogue I had with the Tiberius Shipyard for my lvl75 hull upgrade. Something about how to get and use the new tokens in the game. It was probably just quickly written down as a place holder to be reworded later given the current state of flux that are the Progen missions.
  23. Definitely needs more cowbell.
  24. Just keep mining... Just keep mining... JUST... KEEP... MINING! >.<
