I didn't quite get the same information from what I read as Zack did. I do see where they collect data, or that particular Cortana program does, but isn't that essentially the same as SAM in the older OS system learning your speech and/or Siri for Apple? Sure sounds like it to me.   I also noticed that while everyone is saying 'forced' updates, I see an option for delay updates, which, if able to read further into it, I would assume is very very much like the options available now in Win 7 to either not install them or to install them.   Of course none of my systems have Win10 so I will have to restrict my opinions to only what I can read and not to personal experiences.   Fly Safe   -Alurra

Be sure that your 'packet optimization' box has a checkmark in it on the launcher. Most people play with all 4 boxes checked. Make this change as admin so it will 'stick'. It should remedy the problem you are having.

Have you tried using the 'force update'? It is located under the help tab, then advanced settings, click the button then shut down the client and open it again.

Well then, I will leave it up to those who might have some insight into what might be stopping it. I am leaning toward a setting on your system or a faulty installation of that particular software that is stopping it from working properly. Maybe try a reinstall of just that software and ensure that you are running as admin.

Is your computer using a 3d device or direct x8 or above? If it is not then you need to d/l direct x8 or above to remedy the situation.

Screenshots are stored in the C:/Program Files (x86)/EA Game/Earth and Beyond/Data/Client/Output   If you are talking about just the configuration files for your toons, I BELIEVE you can find them in the Net-7 main folder under client config and such. If you already copied your Net7 folder from previously, all you should have to do is just drag/drop it in on top of the current file and answer "yes" if it asks you if you want to copy/replace the files located therein.

Checking the Net7 DB for builders, I found 109 that were 'listed' and I have no idea how many have their build lists turned off so you can't see them. That is a HUGE amount of builders for an item so I am thinking maybe you are just not getting the drops on your kills. It can't be that rare with that many public builders and however many private builders there actually are.   Fly Safe   -Alurra

I agree with Mim on this one. It is definitely a graphics issue from your machine, not the game itself.   I would suggest that you ensure you are running the enb config as admin by right clicking it then running it, then be sure to run the test configs and pay attention to what your screens are telling you. I know I have a higher end graphics card/chip on my laptop but if I turn it on full throttle the machine starts to act a bit wonky, so I have it tuned back a tad to keep it in check. Try it and see if it helps. If it doesn't, then I suggest you follow Mims advice and do a full battery of tests on the graphics card.   Fly Safe   -Alurra

You have to speak to him inside of Moto. In order to get there to speak to him you need to do the "choose a side mission" which is triggered from the nav directly in front of Net-7 in Saturn. It is one of those pop up messages that show up in the top row of your chat screen. It will speak to you, tell you about choosing a side and give you a card, if you choose. Make sure to READ what it tells you as it gives you specifics on how to complete the mission. It is simple and doesn't hurt at all ;)     Fly Safe   -Alurra

I believe that step should've been triggered by the previous step, meaning, once you'd killed the rogue sharim, the next wave of 'intruding jenquai' should've spawned in same general location. Maybe because your previous step was somehow botched? *shrugs* I would put in a ticket and see if you can get some assistance from a GM.

While I feel empathy for anyone who gets hurt it was an avoidable accident. You would not step out in traffic on a busy street without first looking, why would you cross railway tracks without looking? I can't even cross the parking lot without looking all around myself to be sure I'm not being followed or going to cross into the path of incoming traffic. Always aware of my surroundings and who is sharing those surroundings with me.    I wish people could put their phones down and live their lives. How important must we all think we've become to be available at every waking / sleeping second of every day of our lives.   I am quite surprised that us 'older' folks even made it out of childhood alive ;)   My opinion is, of course, just that, my opinion alone. You are fine as long as you do NOT get your L135 hull.  You may be locked out of some of the bonus content, but that can be unlocked again, for a 'fee' and a token on mars station. However, the main content can be done as long as you are below OL135.   Fly Safe   -Alurra

Put the core in your vault, then try talking to him. See if he'll give you the mission then.   I had to transfer mine into my vault, then back to my hold for him to recognize that I actually had it so I could finish the mission I had in my logs, FOREVER! :D

Make sure that you do not have a firewall or something else blocking your ability to connect to the server. That is also a common problem.

When you are using the arrows, Megan will announce each one as you 'scroll' through. When a character appears and she doesn't say anything is when you have hit the 'jackpot'. Keep in mind that you still will not see them listed in the top row of character names/classes. They are just kind of tucked into them quietly. If you are still not seeing them then you have done something wrong. Remember, you WILL NOT see them in the launcher part of the game where you create characters, you must be using the stand alone program called "Character and Starship creator".

You must use the arrow keys located at the bottom of the character creator in order to access the other 3 classes.

You only have 1 set of weapons for everything and you can build cookies? Dammit! I want to build cookies and I also want the extra vault space that the multiple weapons/devices/reactors etc etc etc that I have are taking up ....   I also have an excess of 28 skill points ... all of my skills, and I do mean ALL of my skills have that pretty little gold dot in it .... I worked hard to get all of those skill points, because I yearned to see what other limits my toon could be pushed to.   Might I suggest you sit down and play the game and explore the content that is provided to you? If you do, I can assure you that you will find HOURS and HOURS of things to do that don't really have to involve your weapons at all ...   I would also like to point out, I might be old and musty, but I am having fun each time I log into the game *shrugs* It is what you make of it, change your perspective and you might see what all the rest of us see, just a thought.   Fly Safe   -Alurra
