Hi,
I have a new TT and there seems to be a problem with the starter missions where i have to talk to Moire Archer in Somerled. Every time i try to talk to her i get an error pops in the chat window saying that i already have that duplicate item. I even deleted the toon and made the report delivery mission the first mission i took and still got the error. After asking in chat i hear that this is a known problem and will be fixed with the next restart/push. Is that the case and is there an ETA on that?
thanks
I had the same sort of problem as theswartz. Game ran fine but i couldn't use enb config to set windowed mode or the resolution, every time it tried to run either it resulted in a crash and an error message in the app event log.
I changed compatibility mode on
Earth & Beyond\EBCONFIG\vidtest.exe
Earth & Beyond\EBCONFIG\E&BConfig.exe
to windows xp and bingo all works ok.
Hi All
not a big one but thought i would ask if anyone else see's this? Every time i clsoe the game either cleanly or the occasionla crash i get the following pop up saying that net7proxy has crashed.
thanks

i have had problems with DNS a few times i have the following in my host file
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
#74.208.132.71 net-7.org
#74.208.192.215 sunrise.net-7.org
#74.208.132.71 patch.net-7.org
any sign of a problem logging in i delete the # at the start and bingo i am in.
The issue is with the name servers hosting the zones. When I had the problem they were not responding to DNS queries and only ns1 was actually responding at all to any nslookup / dig commands.
If it’s any use to you both times I have seen the problem it has been early day ie 5 am UK time.
This site is one I use to check DNS zones
http://www.intodns.com/net-7.org
Also when I check the ptr records for the op addresses of your DNS servers I get
> set type=ptr
> 74.208.228.238
Server: [192.168.2.1]
Address: 192.168.2.1
Non-authoritative answer:
238.228.208.74.in-addr.arpa name = u16157160.onlinehome-server.com
Problems seemed to go away about an hour later and now i can get patch.net-7.org to resolve and game launches fine.
Anyone else sees DNS problems these 3 entries should sort it.
74.208.132.71 net-7.org
74.208.192.215 sunrise.net-7.org
74.208.132.71 patch.net-7.org
Hi
There seem to be some DNS problems this morning (5.30 am uk time) preventing the net 7 launcher working. I did a whois on the net-7.org domain and I get 3 servers listed, I can get a response from NS1 in that I can connect to it but not from the other two.
That said NS1 isnt serving requests for the subdomains “patch” or “sunrise”
I have had a similar problem previously as when I looked in my host file I have these hashed out entries.
#74.208.132.71 net-7.org
#74.208.192.215 sunrise.net-7.org
When I remove the # I can then see some information in the launcher in that I can see 92 people are online however I can’t start the client as I don’t have an entry for patch.net-7.org.
strange this morning it works without me making any changes, only thing i have done differently is take off the start up debug.
anyway thanks for the help Kyp.
Same problem for me I cant get in today, I have tried the cert reinstall as described here
but didn't fix the problem.
Kyp I did modify my hosts file but I believe I returned it to previous state anyway this is what it looks like is this correct?
--------------------------
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 local.net-7.org #E&B Emulator
::1 localhost
I am not able to get in either. I log in, choose a toon, then enter game, about 3seconds after i start to see my ship docking i get a "lost connection to server" message.
