Thanks for the tip, I am trying to download it again, maybe with better luck this time.  Besides the Net-7 Portal page under downloads is there somewhere else that I can get the download from?

So read all the try these firsts, and the FAQ's when it comes to downloading, installing, and running the game.  I'm currently on my 5th time of trying to download the Earth&Beyond Client.  After the download I try installing the eandb_demo.exe that gets dropped from the download.  As soon as I do that.... i get a message "Could not initialize installation. (CRC)"  So I read some more on the forums read a topic that was a bit vague, but what i got out of it was install the Net7 client and go from there.  So I did works no problem, now I have an issue that is kinda odd, its looking for a .exe file to run for the game... the only one that I have is the downloaded demo that wont install.  So i choose all game files, select it and it begins to do some kind of update.  Currently it cant tell what version I am on but the new one is like 196... Net7 Launcher v2.0.0.  I've done several updates and i get the launcher it states that its online, and it gives me the little play button, but its not actually reading a game .exe just the install .exe (i assume) and then gives me the same error  Could not initialize installation. (CRC)  been working on this for a hot minute and any insight would be great.  I've checked my UAC and made sure all my permissions are good and still have the same message. Thanks David
