usa fan, i get so amped watching world cup. Those usa games were nothing short of spectacular. My sister's husband is brazilian, he literally cried. That was such a sad day, I remember comig home and turning the game on it was second half, "must be a typo" no way could they be down by 5. but yea, wtg germany, congrats.

I didn't notice privateer in the character creater... but i played back in the day, i as well googled earth and beyond just because and was lead here, tried to install about a month or two ago and had severe issues, got frustrated, today I came back as I had a dream about what i could do to make it work, and it did, so stoked, these guys who did this are really awesome, told my friend about it, hopefully he likes it because this game is my first MMO as well and will probably be my favorite game for a long time, I've been gaming since the late 80s and this game is my favorite.

Hey its working! i came back and its working but its not full screen what do i do!?!?!?! im so damn stoked right now just need this to be full screen and im set! omg im so happy lol

yes looks just like attachment, the first time I had to change path and that changed things, After i hit play i get the error message about the patch.

worse yet my pc doesnt want to snap a screen shot, i downloaded patch client thinking it would do something, but it didnt, im running everything as admin, still getting the error that says i need and updated patch. from like 3.0.02 to 3.0.06 not sure if it's exact numbers. running everything as admin, and i reset the updates on launcher

just began on step one in " how to get into game" post. The directions say to just get those first two downloads, and not all the others, so I haven't, this may be ignorance on my part but should I get that client patch that is on the download page as well? and If so I'm sorry for being dumb about it lol.   edit: directions don't specifically say "don't download other items" I was just following that post.

ok it keeps saying cant find patch that i need, i changed the path, and that got me farther, but then i ran into the part that says i need patch .06. I dont want to come off as saying its the devs, fault, i love that someone was passionate as me about this game. I'm positive its on my end, going to redownload and share more detailed information. Thank you for responding.

I wanted to play, I would have donated and I'm not just saying that. You guys did a great thing bringing one of the best games ever back, unfortunately, It doesn't want to install or work properly on my computer, pretty upset about it all. Anyway keep up the work, for those that this game does work for enjoy it, my all time favorite game, and I've been gaming 20+ yrs.... ok promised myself i wouldnt cry. .... sniffle...sniffle. Anyway I commend you developers for the attempt at bringing this game to the masses once more and hopefully one day all the kinks get ironed out and more people can enjoy this awesome game

Pretty glad I didnt waste money by donating, gonna try and reinstall if that doesnt work, then my e and b thirst won't be quenched until devs can make this process easier. :(

I searched the threads, i got a little help, changed the path from the launcher, changed the path but its still saying i dont have the latest patch. I thought changing path would help fix this issue and let it find the patch but it still wont find it. read over the "how to get into game " post and followed directions but still nothing.  I was so excited to play this again too.

ok i did that now its givingan error from launcher, wrong auth login in, i ran ass admin says i have.02 and i need .o6 thought using this would let patches load also getting the cant find patch message. Im not super computer savy but would i have to download this patch seperately then drag it into the program files where i went to change path?? thanks for the quick help too i miss this game fierce   by ass i mean as im sorry, lazy typing.

unfortunately i have the same issue, searched stickies on the forum page and couldnt find an initial setup post anywhere
