Cannot get past character creation screen

Hello , I installed the client ,client patch ,net-7 launcher and was able to log into game to the character creation screen and make a toon ,after naming character & picking server then hitting next the game tries to proceed to log me in to play but hangs on the final screen. After a couple of minutes I get the message disconnected from global server. I am running windows XP sp3 & firefox is my browser . Any help is appreciated.

NVM , I fixed the issue ... forgot about fire wall settings me bad...

Enlighten me, because I'm having the same issues.

ive allowed the earth and beyond client and the launchnet7 and cant enter the server after I've created it.

 

I've also found when I verify certificate none is found. when I go to install the certificate nothing happens. could this be the issue?

 

*edit* OK so I was looking in the wrong location. found where I needed to enable the firewall rules for both programs and its working now
