warnog Posted October 13, 2015 Report Share Posted October 13, 2015 Well, I'm trying to get the game to work on a new Win10 laptop and I have one problem left it seems. Holyman Posted October 13, 2015 Report Share Posted October 13, 2015 Check your firewall settings. Start by disabling everything, and see if that does the trick. If it does, then you know it is a firewall issue, and you can start turning stuff back on in stages until it stops gating again. If completely disabling all firewall functions doesn't alter the issue, then you know it isn't firewall-related and you can turn the firewall back on and try and think of something else..! warnog Posted October 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 13, 2015 So, I'm using Norton AV and I just turned off every "uncommon protocol" toggle and it works now. The bad news is, there are about 40 different selections to choose from to find the proper setting to turn off. So, what now? Try each toggle one at a time?
