Jifkan Posted August 23, 2015 Report Share Posted August 23, 2015 I've downloaded E&B as well as the Net7 client, and set everything up exactly as my friend had. When we got to the point of launching the game from the Net7 client, his launched fine. Mine, however, doesn't launch. Once I click "play," the icon shows up in the bottom right corner of my start tray, but no windows open. I've tried disabling windowed mode, but that has had no impact. So far I've tried reinstalling the client, rebooting my computer, and having a witch will it to work (she expressed doubts that forced witchcraft would provide any but negative results), and have had no success. Stoop Posted August 23, 2015 Report Share Posted August 23, 2015 I'm sure someone's going to ask: Are you running as administrator? Apart from that, my laptop takes a while to get going. alurra [Fmr. ADV] Posted August 24, 2015 Report Share Posted August 24, 2015 Are both yours and your friends systems exactly alike? Both running the same OS? What about firewalls? Antivirus software? There are multiple things that COULD be blocking your client from loading fully. As Stoop mentioned above, are you giving it a moment to get the client going? I also have to wait roughly 45 seconds to a full minute for the client to load on my screen. Not sure why the hold up, but it does load.
