  1. The area behind Planet Zweihander was just about empty the last time I looked at it. Freya has quite a few of those added asteroids but none have anything by them. Jupiter used to have some decent mining spots but those are missing as well. Arduinne has tons of empty space and extra navs along the left of the map and totally empty. Planet Arduinne though was not the hulk wasteland it is now and was a very good place to mine gases at 5-7. Mobs for the most part did not aggro and at one time you needed a pass to be there or get attacked by the Earth Corps guardian. Now if you have 0 shields, how can you shunt that to your reactor and get it full again? That seems broken to me. My scout has lvl 5 equipment and running a Dhambier reactor and can pull lvl 9 stuff just fine without needing to shunt.
  2. What about the lvl 9 Diplomats that no one could use? Being a trader wouldn't they get lvl 9 engines as well? If the devices = explorers. PT can't use lvl 9 engines because of their racial weakness, but it doesn't mean the JS can't. Although it would limit them to lvl 8 reactors, which shouldn't be that much of a problem being they can boost their cap to help counter that.
  3. For this to happen I'm pretty sure they need to get EA's permission and I'm not sure that will work.
  4. The main problem is that these skills are psi attacks and biorepression, hacking, befriend have the worst percent of success. Menace, Summon, shield sap, energy drain all seem to hit very well with hardly any failures. I haven't had summon fail yet. I'm not sure if there any of the weaken psi devices are working and how much help they would give. There are weapons that do buff hacking, but nothing for Biorepression. I recall they are on more beams and projectiles, which the scout can't use projectiles. The only ML that buffs hacking is the Type X2/X3 but that also cripples the reactor, which means spamming the skill and the reactor is dead making it worthless. Also there was an mob skill bar that allowed you to see when you interrupted with damage (and emp being the best at it).
  5. How about making Hacking and Biorepression actually with taking with a boost in range and success. Those tools are supposed to help counter mob skills and reactors. Letting scouts have lvl 5 biorepression would make it easier to handle the bios in the fields.

  7. The log clearly shows leaving a station, going to another and being registered upon docking. Not once, but two different times and at different stations.
  8. Back in the early stress tests (before public admittance) every gate was open to everyone because only Sol and the starting zones were available. This is one that has been forgotten and remains unfixed.
  9. Yes but this was after the invasion. How it stands now is how it used to be, crappy loot tables and everything.
  10. Tien explained on the old forums why it is this way and yes had to do with lag and calls to the server and back and oi was a mess.
  11. People face it. Unless you have clear hard facts written down or a screen shot, the devs are going by what they have written down before them. You all say that return to base is worthless now, but how so? By the time you have it most the time you will be hunting in Cooper, Ardus, Roc, aany of the shears and those are gates away from a station. So take cooper, you reg at OMP, yer out of ammo and full of loot, have yer JD buddy poof you right back to OMP or F7 depending on where you regged last. Now those remember the oh crud moments of I last regged in Antares, well that cause you forgot to stop at OMP to reg before you joined the cooper hunting trip.

  13. I'm not sure if I'd want to help out or not. Part of me wouldn't mind the chance to see what I could do with my limited knowledge, and yet part of me doesn't want to handle all that responsibility. Too afraid it would be another job instead of fun.
  14. Why can't the scouts get a copy paste of the hull upgrade missions that are in place for the TT and TE? And sorry I thought it was the 50. After 5 years memory isn't perfect. Perhaps it was the lvl 50 upgrade that could not be skipped like the rest could?
