2. I get this any time I log out of the game, whether logging out through the menu or using /logoff. Its getting to be a little annoying as it pops up a few seconds after everything closes. It also pops up when trying to run more than one client and the second client comes up with "EnB is already running" and closes. Everything is running as admin/winxp sp3 compatiblity mode. Tested it without the winxp mode too, no difference. This happens on multiple Win7 machines with clean installs. Have not tried running it on an actual XP machine yet to see if it still does it. Is there any way to keep this from popping up? Its not a big deal, but its kinda annoying. Thanks in advance
3. is your computer overclocked at all? Do you get hash errors on anything else? Hash errors means something got corrupted/lost while downloading which suggests unstable ram
4. This mission doesnt seem to be optional! I just did this on two toons and tried to decline it by reading the dialogue and the options carefully. (I cant remember what it said exactly just going off memory) But the first talk tree gives the option "what no ceremony for me? " and " and OK what next" which both lead to the same dialogue and then a second talk tree when she offers the bonus mission. The second talk tree gives the options " I guess I cant say no " and " I'll have to think about it". If you select the second option "ill have to think about it" she says something like " well if you change your mind, talk to me again. But for now you can just proceed to the shipyards in Tau ceti and pay the 10K fee. When the conversation ends, the bonus mission is added to your log despite clicking the obvious choice to decline it and you cannot forfeit it. Now I cant talk to Mackellan without completing the bonus mission. Im just gonna go ahead and do it but I really did not want to. My characters names are: Rocket and Corazon
5. Since I couldnt find any clear instructions in any other thread, Here's how to enable it on an Nvidia GPU: -Go to the Nvidia control panel and click on Manage 3D Settings -Click on the Program Settings tab then click Add, Browse for the client.exe file in "...\\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\ Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe". The Nvidia CP might incorrectly label the program as " Dragon : MMORPG", just ignore that.. -Now go to the Feature window and set AntiAliasing - Mode to Override any application setting and then Antialiasing - setting to 4x or 8x (anything higher doesnt make a difference) -Optionally, you can set Vertical sync and Triple buffering to ON to lock FPS @ 60 and prevent your video card from heating up unnecessarily. -Click apply and you're done. No more pixelated edges! Start the game as you normally would. Note: if you run multiple clients at once, the added load from anti-aliasing may cause some input lag with the more clients you have running. -Zesty
6. Well i've tried clearing the cache, disabling all addons and extenstions in Firefox with no luck. I have no anti virus or firewall running on this machine to block it. Nothing happens when I click the OK button after entering my account details. The button shows that it gets depressed when clicked but absolutely nothing happens, it doesnt try to load anything nor does it give any kind of error message. I.E. and Chrome are able to log in just fine. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox to no avail. So i've gone and refomatted one of the PC's after upgrading the hard drive and reinstalled W7 on it again, Without installing anything else, I installed Firefox and all the same add ons from before and now its working just fine. So it seems the addons are not the cause. At this point its not really a big deal and only seems to be a unique issue, Just means i have to use chrome for that computer instead lol. Thanks for the replys!
7. Ever since the update that introduced 9 accounts and account transfer, I have been unable to login to the Net-7.org website to view the database on my main computer with Firefox. I click login, type in my details and hit OK and nothing happens. I've disabled all the add-ons and tried it again with no luck. Nothing happens when I click OK or hit enter, no loading dialogue or error message, but the window closes if I hit the 'close' button. So I tried using I.E. and it works just fine there. Figured maybe an add-on or something is interfering with firefox that prevents the net7 site from working properly and used IE instead. But now a second computer without the same add-ons for firefox is doing the same thing too, IE works fine on that one as well. The third computer has no trouble logging in with firefox and does have all the same add-ons as the first. All three computers are using Win7 x64, Firefox 11. Any ideas? I've tried disabling all add-ons and reinstalled Firefox with no change. P.S. The forum seems to capitalize every word in my thread title
8. I've tried this and it seems to work consistenly every other time. Every other item becomes non-selectable with an icon that can be seen across the entire map sector until you gate or dock.
